Jāvēd Ahmed Ghāmidī (Urdu: جاوید احمد غامدی) (born April 7, 1952) is a Pakistani Muslim theologian, Quran scholar, Islamic modernist, exegete and educationist. He is also the founding President of Al-Mawrid Institute of Islamic Sciences.
Ghamidi's conclusions and understanding of Islam, including the Sharia, has been presented concisely in his book Mizan with the intention of presenting the religion in its pure shape, cleansed from tasawwuf, qalam, fiqh, all philosophies and any other contaminants.

This is over simplified answer ignoring many factors... Islam is not politics only. The vision is very important. The leader in Islam will be chosen, specially at that time based on his time with the prophet, the training, the commitment to vision, the sacrifices made and so on... It is not a pure political decision making. To correct a corrupted estate or region needs bold decisions and need people who are close to vision, selfless and can make sacrifice

میرے خیال میں بہت جلد مکتبہ غامدی کی جانب سے یزید کی اخلاقیات،فصاحت و بلاغت، تقویٰ و پاکبازی اور امت مسلمہ کی خدمات سے متعلق بھی تحقیقی بیان آ نے والا ہے جس میں محترم جناب غامدی صاحب ہمیں بتائیں گے ک جیسے "حضرت معاویہ نے ملوکیت قائم کر کے امت مسلمہ پر احسان عظیم فرمایا تھا" ویسے ہی یزید نے بھی پوری آل رسول صلی اللّٰہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کو کربلا میں شہید کرواکر امت مسلمہ پر دوسرا بڑا احسان کیا تھا۔ تاکہ نہ رہے بانس نہ بجے بانسری۔ بس اب یہی ایک چیز باقی ہے ورنہ تو انہوں نے اپنا موقف بنا لگی لپٹی کے سامنے رکھ دیا ہے۔ حضرت علی, ان کی اولاد اور ان کے ساتھیوں سے انھیں شدید اختلاف ہے اور بنو امیہ سے عشق کا یہ عالم ہے کہ حضرت عثمان سے حجاج بن یوسف تک سب ہی کے کمالات کے معترف ہیں۔ غامدی صاحب جیسے بڑے عالم صدیوں میں پیدا ہوتے ہیں ان سے اس کی توقع نہیں تھی۔

Hussain (ra) , abdullah ibn umar (ra), abdullah ibn zubair (ra) jihone apna bachpan rasool allah ke agosh pe paya aur jawan hue V/s khandan jo ki jabran logon ko apna mutee banana chah raha hai!! Aur fir kya gazab nahi dhaya us khandan ne.. kaise justify kar rahe hain aap.. Muawiyaah (ra) ki izzat apni jagah par badhshahat ki neev daal kar use permanent structure banane ki galti apni jagah.

Hona to chahiye tha k Ghamidi Sb Khilafat e Rashida ki Muddat ko Nabi SAW ki Sahih Ahadith aur Sehaba karam k Faham k mutabiq Wazahat karte k Khilafat kab se kahan tak chali aur Kahan se Malookiyat shuru hui, lekin us trf gaye hi nahi.....aur Malookiyat ko justify kar diya.
