Otter Otsuyu is the mother of Tororo and her babies.
Tororo is only 8 months old, but he has a baby sister and a baby brother. He loves the babies so much that he has recently started taking care of them.
Odashi is Otsuyu's twin sister, so she is their aunt. Normally, the babies' father and mother are supposed to raise them, but the babies' father (Oage) did not seem to like them much.
Therefore, this family is a little bit special, but instead of the father, the sister Odashi helps to raise the babies.

Tororo's an adult. Small claw otters become adults at 7 months. So Tororo is compairable to a 16-20 year old human. But yes. Hes still very young and doing sn anazing job at being a big brother

He's literally just copying the other two otters. I'm not sure it's nurturing instinct. I don't think he knows what he's doing. It's like a young girl pushing a doll baby in a toy pram; they don't actually know how to parent.
