What always breaks me is that at the beginning of their relationship, Enji is actively trying to engage with Rei and learn about her interest. It was a Quirk Marriage, but he was also invested in actually making things work between them. What makes the Todoroki story so sad to me is that it wasn't unsalvagable. Despite everything, Enji wanted to be a good husband and father and arguably was for a while. Had he actually done some real soul searching early on, we'd have a very different story.

I'll never like endeavor and I really hurt for rei because she got caught in an arranged marriage especially when he ruined her mentally. But I also gotta say Rei should've just grabbed all her kids and ran from him for their safety and hers. I'm really scared for the anime reaching the manga in the Todoroki family fight against Dabi 😢

Man it's really Sad because Rei didn't deserve the pain she went through due to Endeavor's abuse still living with the physical and mental scars for life that made her end up in a mental hospital after she poured boiling water on todoroki's face, what's even worse is that she and any of her children didn't helped Touya from Endeavor's abuse before they thought he died when they had the chance therefore creating a monster. Like i said i will never forgive Endeavor for everything he's done to his own family and i don't care if he's trying to redeem himself because once the damage is done it's done and sometimes it takes more than 10 years to repair or it never does especially with all the innocent lives and Heroes Touya has Killed up until now being a killer arsonist because of endeavor so he still deserves everything that's coming to him. They should've never forgiven him especially todoroki himself being a bit too nice

Kotaro Shimura had All for One encouraging his flaws. Endeavor wasn’t manipulated by All for One. Endeavor has no one to blame for his life falling apart, it was all due to his own personal flaws.

This video explains the differenze between Endeavour,Touya,Shoto and Rei. Endeavour and Touya wants ONLY powers meanwhile Shoto and Rei truly want the noble side of heroism. I wished he would have lived and do good for his mom since she’s the only one that cares for him. She felt it was also her fault to at he turned into a villain, but it’s was not because she was stuck in an abusive relationship where she couldn’t help herself. She was scared to death.
