WheeIn and Hwasa harmonizing is just heaven for me

The song was meant to talk about their journey in the singing industry they were told that they wouldn’t make it and they made it too the top without any people to help them and without fitting the standards of girl groups

That is what most reactors say that they notice wheein late and acknowledge her talent late us well. Wheein is like the one who does little of what all z members excel at she keep them together and link them she blends well with harmony with each member she belts she run she riffs her voice is much versatile

Fun fact, Wheein is actually the first one that doing solo in the group with the song called "Easy". Then after that Moonbyul, Hwasa, and lastly Solar.

I also thought about Moonbyul the same way too. She differs from other typical rapper idols. Her rap is hard to catch. It may be simple as we listen but it is hard to catch the timing when you try to rap her part.

I love that Mamamoo is so comfortable in their music and talent that they can release 4 ballads for the summer when groups usually release upbeat, dance-y, catchy songs. Check out their vocal only rendition of WAWN! Also, I’d like to recommend reacting to Jeong Eunji! She’s a top kpop vocalist, and her group Apink is friends with Mamamoo! I so love the fact that the song ended with WheeSa because the whole song was MMM reminiscing 7 years in the biz but then these 2 soulmates go waaaay back since middle school... and they were singing "two of us had the same dream are here..." It's not just lyrics but their history in 1 line.

About Wheein she is known as the core/heart of Mamamoo that connect all of their vocals and she has earned the nickname of the "Ace of k-pop" in k-pop and in Mamamoo also because of her versatility as a singer, dancer and performer. I can also proudly say too that Wheein is my bias in Mamamoo.

at this point in their life, wheein and hyejin (hwasa) have been friends for 13+ years, having met in middle school. they grew up in the same childhood town and hyejin's parents took wheein under her wing (wheein's family situation is not the best). they had the same dream and made it into the same group. they have matching tattoos that say "resonance" (back ankle) and "caddo" (side of neck). they are the maknae line (younger members). i just-love their friendship so much... and to hear you talk about their harmonies at 13:32 adds one more piece to that mosiac of their relationship and dynamic. i would say they're soulmates, in every sense of the word.

I'm actually crying on all the songs on their album. Ohgod! This is the most emotional album that this girls have given us. WAWN and Memory for Life are my faves.

while i love all four of their voices immensely and can never get enough of any pairing of them, the wheein+hwasa vocal pairing and wheein+moonbyul vocal pairing just always hit me so, so hard. and each pairing affects me in a different way that can be hard to explain i think part of it for wheesa (wheein+hwasa) is the fact that the two have been such a huge part of each others lives for so long. the two met back in middle school, went to seoul to pursue music together, debuted in the same group and have been at each others side ever since. they've been singing together for well over a decade and that's one reason they seem to fit together so well there's actually one duet song between the two, a ballad called "loving one person" that i both love and hate at the same time... it's definitely worth checking out at some point, possibly if you try to get into subunit songs... of which there are only two official ones: "angel" (solar+wheein) and "dab dab" (moonbyul+hwasa), but there's also solar+moonbyul performing a song together at a show called 'sugarman' (mamamoo was on that show as a whole later, twice) as for the moonbyul+wheein vocal pairing... i think one reason that hits a lot of people so hard is the similarities in their voices. if you pitch byul up a bit or wheein down a bit you get a near identical version of the other's voice. it's actually pretty crazy and people have tweaked some of each one's solo work to give us an idea of what the other would sound like singing it

As a Wheein bias I'm slightly just slightly sad that the song didn't showcase Wheein's belting technique. But, I understand. Wheein' s belts are phenomenal but doesn't have that explosive power like Solar and Hwasa so I agree with the choices. I just want "Wheein the backbone" to receive more recognition from new moomoos as well. I love Solar and Moonbyul and Hwasa too. I love Mamamoo.

GIRLLLL I loved this much as I love all of your reactions! I scrolled through you videos and saw you have not react to any of Mamamoo Queendom's performances yet. My favorite is I Miss You stage and you MUST react to that, Wheein just completely stands out because I Miss You is a song that relies on her vocal A LOT.

Hwasa's voice and Moon's voice are something else Wheein and Solar are amazing as well, but for me Hwasa and Byul... oof I can't express how their voices make me feel ♡ Wheein is leaving RBW, but she's still promoting with Mamamoo, at least for this comeback, I still don't know what to feel about it, but I saw it coming since she was taking so long to renew her contract. Mamamoo is one of the greatest girl groups to ever exist, so I hope we get more of them in the future. Since all the other Mamamoo members did renew their contracts I bet they will still be with us for a while as Mamamoo...but idk if Wheein will be part of that later on, can't say I'm not worried, but I just hope she finds her own way to fly and be happy ^^

It definitely hits harder when you know what the lyrics mean. I tried, and failed, to hold back my tears. Mamamoo debuted as a "vocal" group, as opposed to a "visual" group. They were told it was sink-or-swim. They weren't "pretty enough" by Korean standards, so if they failed to make an impact with their vocals, it was over for them. WAWN is very much a return to those roots. It's a reminder that this is a group who sings live, and sets the stage on fire. They rule on the basis on vocals, and stage presence alone. WAWN is my top pick off this mini album. Next would be Destiny Pt 2, which is a remake of the original. It's more a ballad, as compared to the rock sensibility of Destiny. The more delicate arrangement really showcases their vocals beautifully. And can I just say, it took guts to make all four tracks on the mini album ballads, and melancholic ballads, at that? Summer releases are traditionally pop or dance, to give that "fun, fresh, and upbeat" vibe. Think Red Velvet Joy's solo debut Hello. Mamamoo went in the opposite direction. The tracks are introspective, and even tinged with sadness. I can't help thinking WAWN is a seminal moment for them. It's their 7th anniversary, and they wanted to look back on how far they have come. As of now, it's up in the air if they will continue as a trio, or a quartet. Every member has renewed their contract, bar Wheein. Many fans were quick to pick up on WAWN's melancholic overtones, and queried if this was a farewell. Some panicked, as they thought Mamamoo would be disbanding, and this was their way of saying goodbye. The label has confirmed Mamamoo will go on. It just remains to be seen if it will be with the full complement of members. The thought of Wheein not being part of Mamamoo is painful. We can only hope, and wait.
