all groups have inside jokes created behind the scenes that fans love and call back to. Virtually no one but Mamamoo has takes those, turns them into hits with millions of views/plays and then into large set pieces during their concerts.

sleep in the car and Aze Gag are two others worth checking out. Aze Gag is basically 'dad jokes'. Unfortunately, the jokes don't translate to english, But its still a good MV/song even without understanding it.
At the time, they listed their heights as 159 Wheein, 160 Hwasa, 161 Solar and 163 Moonbyul. They have the lowest average height of any of the girl groups, though there are shorter individual idols. The CEO heard them complaining about having to adjust the height of the mikes in the recording session and told them they should write a song about it.
That's funny. I think their CEO is kinda courageous. I think he or she also encouraged Solar to perform with her head bald in a performance. I don't know if she shaved her head or wore a bald cap, but when I reacted to the Mamamoo guide part 1 there was a small snippet of that story and the CEO being one of the few to actually support the decision.
@@the_talking_muffin😂 After their versatile vocals, rather than bad/cute girl images, their CEO sold the group as people who enjoy the stage; making fun songs and popping up with strange (in their society) ideas is all a part of that joy, so ofc he encourages them haha
@@the_talking_muffin The CEO knew he could trust Solar's judgement about what would work. He worked together with all the members as fellow artists (he is monster hit maker, he wrote BTS's Blood Sweat and Tears for example). She did wind up using a bald cap. There is a solarsido episode about her visiting a company that specialized in bald caps and making sure that she could get the effect she wanted that way.
Correct - they sampled Dr Dre's groove for Eminem's The Real Slim Shady. They're all short, approx 5'2" to 5'4", but that's never stopped them from making fun of Wheein for being the shortest munchkin of the bunch. For a good time watch how Wheein finds two different ways to turn the tables in their 2018 & 19 concerts. Do a search for 1CM skit 4 Seasons S/S and 1 CM skit 4 Seasons F/W and you'll find vids with Eng subs. Those were their last pre-pandemic annual concerts. For the MyCon tour that just ended they brought back the 1 CM tradition with an animated video written by Solar and another way for Wheein to be the tallest. Fair warning about Waggy - there's no MV and the live performances where they're wearing doggie costumes are from tv shows so your reaction is likely to get blocked.

Korean live tv shows don't like people reacting to live shows, you will get copyrighted. If you see a company like KBS, MNET, SBS and MBC about 90% you will get copyrighted
@@the_talking_muffin i would like to recomend a mix stage video upload by fans, they have perform waggy on many stages, and this video is a mix of them including the one in the famous variety show where they have makeup as a dog. i saw several reactor react to this , maybe it's safe coz it combine a tiny part of each performance. search on yt with the following words. *갱얼쥐 주의* 마마무(MAMAMOO) - 쟤가 걔야(WAGGY) 교차편집(stage mix)

Yeah, I just haven't had time to put into an edited video. Even though I did light editing on my first reaction it still took 8 hours to edit it. Plus I'm learning a different editng program so I am doing a few shorter vids for right now. Thanks for asking :) And I'll try to remember to look for the stage mix vids.
