Fun fact: Mamamoo were the first ones on Killing Voice! (The series is a spin-off, kinda, of the Killing Verse series, primarily for soloists and rappers.)

The lower harmonies are usually done by Hwasa and Moonbyul, yes. Dunno if people notice it because they often think Moonbyul is not in the harmonies. It’s just that often it’s harder to hear the lower harmony, but she’s often there to add to the richness!! For Hwasa, if you listen closely to Mamamoo performances, you’ll find her often doing harmonies and short adlibs to support Solar and Wheein’s high notes.

This was the video that got me into Mamamoo! They're now tied with onlyoneof for my absolute favourite group, so I'm so glad you've been reacting to them recently! I love your face when Wheein does her high breathy vocals like at 8:49 - thats how I feel when I hear her too! And Byuls low tones are just so incredible all the time. If you've not seen them yet I'd recommend some of their queendom performances, esp for I Miss You and Destiny. Also, one last thing, Hwasa wasn't well when they filmed this and she still sounded like THAT!! Edit: ooh also I've just remembered that you really appreciate OOO's queer stories (as we all do), so I think you'd also really really like Moonbyul's solo song Shutdown ft Seori!!

I Miss You is just a sample of how Mamamoo's b-sides can be as epic as the title tracks. Also their commercial songs & osts...all fabulous music. If you somehow decided to do Mamamoo journey, it would be a long pleasing journey since they have plenty quality songs.

You should check out some of their collabs, like Hwasa and Loco did a song that is really famous, but my favorite surprise collab they did was the rapper BASIC performing on a show called Show Me The Money and MAMAMOO appeared singing backup with him. Truly a killer live performance.
