The "Mamamoo continues" from Um Oh Ah Yeh is a clear message, that no matter where the members go individually or put out, the group won't disband.

A lot of the songs on the album are versions they’ve performed live before. Like at MAMA, or their comeback stage, or at misc award shows, or even a radio show - but I was happy they were added to the album with studio quality. It was nice.

I can never decide which version of their song I like better. It usually just ends up being the one I’m currently listening to 😅

ROGUE!! You missed something truly important in Mamamoo's history, and it wouldn't be a complete Deep Dive without it! When this album came out, I realized listening to the tracks that they matched the versions used for the WAW online concert. So if you want clips, then that concert or MyCon concert are the place to go. Aside from Queendom Decalcomanie, Rock Gogobebe, Traditional Aya that had been done elsewhere like music shows. Their reason for the new versions on “The Best” instead of just copy and past the previous album versions was to show how much their vocals have changed/matured and to give new arrangements.

Wind Flower Dramatic ver. is DRAMATIC!! 😂😂

The disco genre is interesting for sure, would've loved that. On a separate note, I've always wanted Mamamoo to do a Christmas album - that would be magical. I just remember listening to 'Memory' for the first time and immediately melting!

So for me it's Paint Me, HiHiHaHeHo, Sting, Um Oh Ah Yeah, Yes I Am, sometimes Aya when I'm in the mood and Wind Flower that I like more than the originals (although I often skip the end of Wind Flower since unlike you, I actually don't love it 😂. I loooove the jazzy piano bit though. Especially since Solar played the piano for it at their concert) I can't like this version of Don't Be Happy more than the original since if it wasn't for Bumkey I wouldn't have checked it out and immediately stanned Mamamoo pre-debut 🤣 I owe him lol The just Mamamoo version of Peppermint Chocolate that they performed at festivals was so entertaining 😂 Wheein still managing to seduce Solar even when confined to her chair from injury 🤣

I interpret dramatic as "drama queen", exaggerated, extra? ^^U and that version is the extra-est thing ever xD (I love it!)

The great thing about this album is, they didn't just copy and paste the hits and a couple of new songs onto a disc in a cynical money grab. No. They re-recorded with new arrangements and put love and effort into giving us a reason to buy and love it. Its a whole new album not a greatest hits.

The decalcomanie intro in this is the same one they used for Queendom and really is mostly the queendom version, it is a great song one of my favorites. Hopefully you have the Aya aggrabah version live, it is insane for a performance and this AYA version is similar. As I said in the part 1, I love the 2021 versions of these songs better than the originals. And even if you cant react to it, get the 2021 live stream concert video. It is incredible. Dont be happy, Wheein and Solar reprise their original pre-debut MV live and if you remember the ragtime ending with moobbyul and Hwasa is included, also with all 2021 versions they have Hwasa and Moonbyul sing the parts of the former features. Peppermint chocolate MMM version 2021 is the most chosen song on my itunes playlist. Destiny is based on the queendom version also.

I never would have said this when I first became a moomoo, but I genuinely believe Decalcomanie is their best title song. I was a huge Wind Flower and Egotistic loyalist lol.

I think Destiny is also the version they used in QueenDom. I guess you hadn't get to it yet. It's awesome. I also believe that don't be happy and peppermint chocolate are better than the originals. And you should definitely check the Japanese version.

On doit rendre hommage pour cet album à Kim Do Hoon qui fait tout les arrangements. Il a composé une grosse partie des originaux et la présence de tous ces cuivres est certainement dû à lui. Pour moi il est comme le cinquième membre du groupe. On le voit sur le film MAMAMOO produit en août 2023. Il a des mots très élogieux pour toute et particulièrement pour Moonbyul qui est pour lui celle qui a le plus évolué. Il me fait penser à Georges Martin pour les Beatles. Beaucoup de fans des Mamamoo le critique mais sans lui les Mamamoo n’aurait jamais pu livrer des aussi belles chansons si variées. Tout cet album devait être la base pour une tournée mondiale qui n’a pas vu le jour à cause du COVID. La tournée MyCon était moins ambitieuse mais excellente quand même.
