I like the partnership approach to CF songs in S Korea. Rather than simply hiring a famous group to do a silly advertising jingle it seems like they give the artist free reign to produce an original song that includes the message they want to send about their product. The company gets the additional good will generated by supporting the artist's talent and creativity and the artist gets the chance to produce something they can be proud of. Woo Hoo charted at #15 on the weekly Gaon/Circle chart and was downloaded almost 200K times in 2016 and it's still being performed and listened to so it's had a much longer shelf life than your typical ad jingle. LG definitely got their money's worth. Kpop CF songs are rarely if ever as good as Woo Hoo and are almost always in the lower tier of an artist's discography but they aren't usually complete trash either.
Wheein does that note, she can hit that both at the top of her range or as a whistle note, live she has done it both ways. Solar and Wheein have similar ranges but I think Wheein is slightly higher and Solar can go slightly lower. Another thing they do as a group rarely seen is they can all match notes fairly exactly, sometimes Solar will add in her belt for Wheein to sound fuller because Solar just has a very powerful belt. All 3 of them will duet with Moonbyul for the songs Moonbyul does with featured singers but doing local venues she usualy has Solar or Wheein do it, hard to find these videos because they are usually fan cams. They do harmonize with or use backing tracks as well. The video is misleading of course because they are not singing live but there are live videos, they have done this song in concerts.

You have to remember a lot of those people who make those assessments online are nobodies with very small amounts of technical experience based in reality. I can think of one guy in particular who is a Gen Z know it all who knows nothing. Different life situations take a toll on your voice at different times. Internet idiots barely take that into consideration.

The high notes and the harmonies of this song live at their concerts are out of this world. (I think that note is Wheein) Actually all Mamamoo can go extremely high however Moonbyul and Hwasa usually use their lower tone more
We need good commercials like this here in the west lol! Oh they all have incredible range for sure! I think it's interesting that they perform this live. It is a commercial after all.
