Fun Fact: You’re the Best gave Mamamoo their very first win in any music shows. Woo hoo, I think, was filmed twice. If you slow it down at the 2:59 mark of the MV (beginning part of the bridge), you would see there Hwasa wearing her jacket, then Moonbyul came out of nowhere at the back.

I really love Wheein's vocal in Woo Hoo; when she hit that high note I get goosebumps. Also, she looked absolutely stunning in that MV as well. Btw, if you have seen 1cm Taller Than You MV, at the end of the MV you can see the intro of the You're The Best (where the girls arrived at the hotel).

UOAY was their first hit but You Are the Best is where Mamamoo literally blew up in SK. Achieving their very first Perfect All Kill in all music charts, which is super rare to get.

Mamamoo CF songs are so good! Everyday, Sky! Sky!, Girl crush, Woohoo, Gleam, Wannabe myself I'm always like, take my money

You're so extra hahaha. Love the intro. The cf songs always feel so much better than they have any right to be, but woo hoo really does stand out as just a stellar fun song. Also credit to moon she always manages to fit in the contractually obligatory promo into her raps without it coming off as totally out of place. You're the best is probably their first mainstream success domestically, its the song they won their first music show with, but they are really burnt out on the song, i dont think you can find many recent performances of it. Its also possible they felt similar to how radiohead felt about creep where they didnt want to be only defined by that one song.

Their CF is definitely on another level. I think they have 5 CF - correct me if I'm wrong - to date. The most recent is Want To Be Myself. I know they will come back soon in November. Definitely waiting for that, I won't watch any trailer or concept vid cause I want to be surprised.

I've always said that Woo Hoo is just 3+ minutes of Mamamoo showing off their amazing vocal talent, putting the entire kpop industry on notice, if you will. The didn't re-shoot the scene where Moonbyul hit the lamp because this video was all shot in one take. If they wanted to remove Moonbyul hitting the lamp, they would have had to re-shoot the entire video. Speaking of errors, if you pay attention you'll see Solar almost knocked Hwa Sa down the stairs.

In the beginning, it was Solar all the way bc of her powerful vocals and crackhead personality but then, Hwasa crept in as my bias wrecker with her sexy, sassy attitude, her beautiful jazzy sound, and her thicc, curvy figure. It went back and forth between them for a few years and I still love the both of them but more recently, I’ve begun to appreciate Byul and Wheein much more for their talents and personalities now that they’ve gotten more attention and more opportunities to shine. Austin, if you haven't listened to Orbit by Hwa Sa, My Everything and WOW by Mamamoo, those are 3 of my favs, and they have MANY more.
