Ok so we know how this will end. She paid $3500 several years ago. She GOT $1500 from the insurance. She still HAS one Jet Ski intact. And she has the lifts and the trailer. So she has ZERO DAMAGES. The woman has no concept of DEPRECIATION. She was actually OVERPAID by the insurance. THE END.
Not over paid for the one damaged Jet Ski. She got the depreciated value of the damaged Jet Ski. You have no idea about depreciation of insured damaged Jet Ski. No different that a car that was totaled.

The grandma is only suing for the deductible. Have a feeling that the 20-year-old defendant didn't offer either to pay for the gas he wasted or offered an apology for totalling 20-year-old jet skis.
Imagine the camera cuts to JJ executing a mad drift on a jet ski at 3:25 "now i like riding on it", and then she stops, takes off her sun glasses "now this is how you steer a jet ski", and speeds off.
The defendant doesn’t seem like the sharpest knife in the drawer. The only reason I can see to steer from behind is if you are riding with a small child. And if that’s the case you are an idiot to take a small child on a jet ski if you are inexperienced. This is common sense. Twenty is old enough to know better.

It seems like the plaintiff’s grandson and the defendant were probably being gay together. 😅 I get those vibes. Grandma was mad about her grandson being gay so she sued the defendant as a way of “getting back” at him. I know this sounds far-fetched, but I think it’s the truth! Bc she seems SO ANGRY at the young guy defendant for such a small reason!
It’s sarcasm. Besides, every medical practitioner knows that ‘kids’ don’t reach full maturity until age 25, which is the point that the frontal cortex (the part of the brain responsible for logical thinking) becomes fully functioning with proper synapses and all. Just sayin’. Happy Sunday to you!
