I'm old. Maybe that's why I feel totally incredulous about some of these females! I've been married to the same man for 55years. We've been through good and bad together. We love each other. We support each other. Its not about how much he makes, how tall he is, its about falling in love - you can't pick who that will be, love doesn't work like that! If you're young and need money then work two jobs - I'm talking bout both of you, not him! Live you're lives together. Work for each other! I thank god my child lives life as we did. I agree. Taking the last name of her husband is how a wife shows that she respects him. Respect is the foundation of a solid marriage, even more than love. Changing her last name shows also her level of commitment, since it makes it harder for her to divorce her husband (80% of all divorces are initiated by wives).

Posh's father was a customer of mine in the 80's. Her father did have a Rolls Royce. They lived in Cuffley in a nice house with a swimming pool and had a villa in Spain. He worked buying and selling electrical goods and had owned several businesses. I would say middle class, not working class. I would say that many claim workig class as they needed to work to live. It depends on you definition. BUT she certainly did not grow up on a council estate. They were a nice family and friendly people.

Mr Clampet was wrong. It doesn't matter if she takes your name or not. My 2nd wife didn't take my family name. Our daughter has my last name. So his wife can easily keep her name and him still carry on his family legacy. Furthermore, I had 2 girls. My oldest daughter has 3 sons. My oldest grandson has my last name. So even though my brothers and I all had daughters, my grandson will carry on our family name.

Nobody "teaches" their kids to lip sync to songs ; they do it on their own if the exposure is consistent - as in, the radio always on the same damn "hit" song played a million times a day, etc. If you wanna criticize, criticize their shitty taste in "music".
