When I met my wife to be I took her out on a date and we hung out a bit and seemed to have a lot in common. We both had been divorced and both had kids, she had three, like I said we went out a couple of times and then she told me that she wanted to find someone more exciting... I said, "That's cool, said my goodbyes and went back to my house which I owned." She was living in an apartment with her kids. So I carried on and then about a week later I got a phone call from her daughter asking "Mom wants to know why you haven't been coming over." I told her that she said she wasn't interested so I respected her wishes. She then told me that "Mom would like you to come over." She had young children and her daughter was using a pay phone at her apartment complex. I told her I would when I get a chance. Next day Mom (the daughter's mom) called me begging me to please come over she was afraid of her ex so I went over.... We've been together for 34 years ever since. I sometimes remind her that she wanted someone a little more interesting... and she says "that was when she was stupid." I'm retired now and she was always a home maker so we are with each other 24/7 and we fiercely love each other. We learned how to work through problems and compromise to keep each other happy.

I’m a heavily tattooed woman who trains who earns well BUT I keep a home and don’t moan about it. I have 2 grown up kids, had them young and got a career after they reached a certain age. I’m married and look after my husband and home and see marriage as a life commitment. I love my husband I love my life I look after my health and look after my appearance for me and my husband who is extremely proud of me. I’m lucky to have a predominant working from home job which allows me to maintain a home AND work hard. My husband has a very Manual job so if I am doing housework at night while he relaxes then so be it.

I dropped out of the whole dating/mating game a long time ago because I realized it was a lost cause. Looking at these women makes me realize that I actually have it pretty good! I'm comfortably retired and drawing a pension, I've traveled some, and I pretty much do whatever I want. I'm not fabulously wealthy by any stretch of the imagination but I am very comfortable. But it's obvious that these women are in for a very rough future. When I was a kid, I used to hear older relatives say things like, "Marriage is something you have to work at and you can't just get out of it just because you're uncomfortable (or to use the term that one girl used-- if someone gives you the "ick"). Life is full of "ick" moments. These whiny women today are not ready to accept another human being in their life, period. They would rather spend their time on TikTok telling the social media world about their troubles than actually working on themselves. They lack basic maturity. If Prince Charming walked through their door, they would find a reason to turn him away. It's not so bad being by myself. As for me, enjoying a roast chicken with red potatoes for dinner with a bottle of chilled white wine is pretty nice. My life is great! Theirs? Doesn't look too good from where I'm sitting. I feel bad for the tattoo girl. I am a total plain jane with no muscles, no tats, no face piercings, dress conservatively, rarely wear makeup, etc., and I'm single too. The harsh fact is that we look crazy even without all that stuff. People can just tell. She has to work on her self-image and mental stability before she can even think about a relationship. There are women who look like her who have plenty of success in relationships and it's because they're not crazy.

After I had tires changed by "professionals" who used an air-gun to put them on. One time, I almost torqued the head off the lug wrench. Which is why I keep a 1/2 inch breaker-bar with impact sockets next to my jack. But even then, a couple times I had to stand on the bar and sorta jump up and down. And I weigh right at 200lbs.

I am 66 years old been married to the same woman for over 30 years and still in love with her as she is with me. here is my point I believe the true art of falling in love is lost on our younger generation, Every young woman today is always demanding a curtain type of guy and demand they will not settle for less. But if you are looking for true love there are no demands or specific type of mate there is just love and that is it. This younger generation is so abscessed with finding there perfect someone that they will wind up being single until they reach an age were they are no longer date able and then these same woman complain that it is the man's fault when in reality it is there's. And the sad part is woman created this problem back in 2018 and men are on to these tricks woman play and will not be taken advantage of anymore. when I found my wife I was not looking for a relationship but it just happened and the rest is history

(inb4 calling me a pick me) i'm what one would consider traditional. no tattoos or piercings except my ears, delicate jewelry and modest, classy dresses. i can cook, bake, sew, manage a home, know first aid and self sufficiency in growing food and making it from scratch. however - i am overweight because of an illness, still very much spry and active, but i have a lot of cushion - no matter all my skills and all that i bring to the table, no matter the absolute feast that i bring in, i am still fat. i can't lose weight like normal women can, and bc of that i am destined to die alone.
