I'm a 79-yr-old woman. There is no reason on Earth that I should have an interest in watching men's hair being cut. Yet, it IS interesting. I am glad I discovered your vlog. You (I) never stop learning.

It's amazing how a carefully shaped haircut can compensate for thinning hair and leave a guy looking more full headed. Some seem to think growing hair long does that... it doesn't ! This fella's amazing transformation is proof. He looks handsome, well groomed and confident now. Wow.

I love that the stylist asked him so many questions in the beginning and really tried to get a feel for what he wanted. So many don't take the time to do that!!! I never quite feel that I get the style that I want when I go to a hairdresser. I show pictures and I explain, but it never comes out quite like I had hoped.

3:14 pm This Barber is doing an Excellent job cutting this Red Head Man’s Hair!! I am enjoying the way he has taken the different section of this Ted headed Man’s Hair and shaping and trimming it. It is looking so beautiful with each trim and cut. This Barber is very methodical and it is fascinating to watch how the Barber does his job with ease and calm! Soo cool!!

Great job! I had a few questions for you..I’ve had my Cosmetology License/Instructor’s License for 43 years-and I’m wondering about the numbers u threw out there about hours and equipment. I’m wondering if you are thinking that Cosmetologists only need 1,000 hours before they can go to the State Board to test out for their license? When I took my training, it took 2 years, and 2 summers to complete the 1,500 hours going full time in School, plus staying in Cos until closing up at 9pm-Monday-Saturday. Monday was theory (Classroom only) and we learned Chemical use-for perms, color, straightening, and everything from treatments for skin, hair, nails, facial make-up, shampoos and conditioners-and everything in-between. We had Anatomy & Physiology- learning every system in the human body-(skin, organs, including every bone, muscle, nerve) and 250 hours were dedicated to nail care, artificial and natural. We learned electricity, math, psychology-as we had to deal with delicate situations with dealing with recognizing skin and health conditions, diseases, parasites, learning and practicing strict sanitation to protect the client/and Stylists from contracting or passing along anything that could have been prevented. I got a Scholarship for Instructor’s Training, another 500 hours-which brought me to 2,000 total-and I believe they added 500 hours to the classroom for all Cosmetologists the year after I completed all testing and got my licenses. We also are trained in using straight razors during a shave and during haircuts..we actually issued straight razors in our “kit” from the School with all tools we will be trained in. I don’t normally choose to use them-being more of a “safety” issue for me-as I had my own Beauty Salon in a large Institutional building for a multi-age community with various physical and mental needs that can’t live on their own-and needed personal grooming and styling. I had to watch carefully as to the whereabouts of my scissors and so on. I was thinking that maybe your State had different requirements, and I was interested in learning more about that if u don’t mind sharing the info. As @forestforest1191 said-“We never stop learning!”

I would love to see a lot of men who have a lot of hair to try a shorter version of their hairstyle. This guy is gorgeous and makes him look like a man who cares about his looks. Great job!!!

Looking really good! You see that often where men have straggly hair and oversized (smelly) beards. I think they get used to it and are nervous about cleaning up. Neck beards do nothing for any man. Nice to see he is no longer hiding his beauty behind overgrown hair. Well done!
