My “dream man” was someone who had post-secondary education, who had potential and WANTED to work want to succeed. My feeling on a first date- it’s Dutch because you are usually strangers. But that’s was always a pride thing with me. I pay my way a) because I can; b) because there is no weird implied “expectation”. And for goodness sake, we eat at a reasonable restaurant. I would never break the bank on a first date, ever. The Chick-Fil-A video… well shameful. Everyone knows that they make AMAZING food. I have clearly not been out there in a long time. But I will say this: People are people. It takes all sorts. Even in this generation there are decent people out there that would look at this behaviour and be horrified. I know this because my 2 sons are out there is this toxic swamp and they have both found like-minded partners.

I took motorcycle riding lessons from a woman once (excellent instructor) but she had told me she was on her 4th marriage. I remember thinking "well, if you don't look inward, you may have a 5th on your hands" Whether you are the problem, or you choosing bad people is the problem, it is important to reflect deeply on these situations so that you learn from the mistake and have a better outcome.

I truly don’t understand girls these days. I married my kind, honest, faithful, great father, hardworking hubby years ago. When I met him he worked hard but like most young people was dead ass broke. We built our empire together. I taught my daughter…’you make your own money, you pay your own way’… nobody is put on this earth to cater to your ass. Especially these days, where it would be great to be a stay at home mom, but it’s expensive and harder than ever. I always wanted to make my own money and pay for my own nails, feet, etc.

As a woman I am disgusted with this generation. My partner opens doors for me, feeds me, takes me shopping, takes me on trips, runs my bath and makes me dinner and much much more, but, I also do the same, he gets his dinner on the table and de-stressing pleasures when he gets home from hard days work (that's something I look forward to), I run his bath and bathe him, I fulfil his every desire, I worship him, I let him be the man in this relationship, I buy him gifts, I take him on trips, I clean our house, take care of our 5 children as well as work myself and we are 14 years in this happy bubble. Marriage is partnership 50/50. These girls think false eyelashes, fake asses and an attitude will bag them a husband. I am scared for my sons future.

Wife continually rejected me in the bedroom. She wanted to travel, go on dates, do special events. Had to break it to her. As long as she turned me down in the bedroom, those trips were-never-going-to-happen. She is divorced single and alone working menial part time job. Have a good life, just the way you ordered. When your attitude is you don’t have to, you don’t get to!

I saw the title & had to watch because I did just that thing. I was set to meet up with a chick for dinner after we ordered her 2 friends show up & start ordering food. Excused myself to go to the can but what I did was have the pizza I ordered delivered to my house instead & the waitress let me out through the kitchen. The chick I was supposed to be on a date with had pulled that stuff before the wait staff there all hated her for it. I was out in the parking lot when I could hear that chick start screeching about her & her friends having to pay for the drinks & food they ordered. 45 min later the pizza showed up with a note from the waitress.

My now hubby of 55 years forgot his wallet on our first date. He was so embarrassed and thought that I'd think that he was a looser! Silly guy, I had no problem with paying for us. We still split bills except when we want to do something special for the other. I love to surprise him with something over the top as he deserves it. Why do these women think that they are so special?
