Many years ago in our India, DAUGHTER was treated as a burden and SON was treated as a prince. Now-a-days in our India, SON is treated as a burden and DAUGHTER is treated as a princess. In abroad, son and daughter, both are given equal freedom, equal importance and equal love & caring from parents.

I am the 4th daughter, i have 3 elder sisters. I was born 14 years after my 3rd sister. My dad was expecting boy, but unfortunately i was born. He got so angry that he did not even come to see me in hospital. But finally what happened...in his last days I was the one who took care of him in his death bed. He realized his fault and asked sorry on my 45th birthday before his death..Girls take care of their parents even better than boys with love and care..

Be a boy or girl or transgender.. child is a child. I will show my love for them no matter what. If we (as parents) don't show love, who else is there for them. Girls life have improved not so bad like past. My dad loves me. I am single child too. I will always tc of my parents.

My dad doted on his girls, if my brothers ever argued or hit us, he used to tell them off. In those days, other neighbors would only buy ice cream or toys for their sons. My dad used to buy ice cream for the other kids as well. So we sisters grew up having equal rights as our brothers. Miss u dad❤

Daughters and sons are both blessings of God and must be loved equally. Many a times daughters can be more caring towards her parents than sons. Unfortunately, in countries like India and Nepal, a man and his parents tend to blame the wife if she is unable to bear sons and many a times mistreat the poor and innocent wife just for that reason while failing to understand and accept is that if the wife gives birth to only daughters then it is not her fault but the fault lies in the husband. Men have XY chromosomes and women have only XX chromosomes. These chromosomes determine the sex of the child. Women can contribute only X chromosome but a man can contribute either X or Y chromosome. If X chromosome is contributed by the husband then his wife will bear a daughter (XX chromosomes) and if Y chromosome is contributed by the husband then his wife will bear a son (XY chromosomes. In India and Nepal, a man (and his parents) accuses his wife for not giving birth to a son and uses that as an excuse to marry another woman. But, if the wife is unable to bear a son then it should be the wife who needs to remarry another man because her husband is unable to contribute the Y chromosome for a son. Husbands and their parents in India and Nepal should stop blaming the wife/daughter-in-law for not giving them a son.

My daughter is taking of me and my wife even after my retirement. I had heart problem and I was admitted to hospital. My daughter and my son in law are taking care of me in all respects till date. It god's gift that I have a good and understanding daughter and son-in-law in my life .

Unless and until the practice of sons parents staying with son even after marriage but the wife's parents not allowed to stay with daughter, all the daughters will be considered as burden in indian society.

Educate them well, the rest they'll manage themselves, whether it's financial independence or the emotional one. Also, it's very important for the parents of children (of all the 3 genders) to upbring them well so as to raise a sensible generation who understand the nuances of gender sensitivity. 👍✨

I only have 1 issue with these type of videos. Always to prove the importance of girl why do we have to show the boys as villain in the life of parents? My father takes care of his parents when his sisters and brothers are busy in their own life. And I am proud of this.

I am aged 73 and my only daughter and son-in-law are taking care me and my wife who 65 years old. She has given her own flat to us for stay and my daughter is living in a rented flat. Because the has only two bedroom.

This is just so absurd and stupid. Just because a child is GIRL doesn’t mean that she’s a burden. It doesn’t MATTER whether it’s a BOY or a GIRL. No one can control the gender of their baby in terms of pregnancy. It’s not the child’s fault that she was born a female!!! Only because of the dad's visible and constant displeasure for a girl child is he left all alone in his old age. This approach of taking revenge of the youngsters isn't very correct but the ones who go through this kind of a pain as shown in the video cannot be blamed totally for their horrific past as well 🪀
