Do not put wood you want to keep track of in your NPC he will imediately drop all wood he is carrying into the closest fire he/she walks past...

OR buildpoint! if you walk near any blueprints they will auto distribute their inventory into them if it's required! Same with them having access to chests in your home... they will auto deposit but auto fuel things around your base... its good to make one Drop off chest but learn to always grab important things out of it when you get home!

Same for any t2 material. I just read if you give them a torch and a one-hand weapon, they will light your way and not cut anything down/add wood to things..

To split stacks, drag from container to container while holding shift.

Ty , ive been walking around with 100 healing snack , 100 meats and it weighs so much , I resigned myself to the fact that until I eat some of it I'll weight alot.

Do NOT give your NPC companion wood! (Especially high tier wood) They will throw it in your stations for fuel!

I found a house to break down for mats in one of the first ascended realms you go to and got like 100 lumber and granite from it put it all on my survivor ran a little bit to notice I couldn’t find them when I went back to respite they were with the level 20 gear she spawned with and nothing in her inventory. she was loaded with my mats and had all my hands me downs :( everything was lost

Look on the map where you lost her for an NPC chest, it might still be there.

Do not repair your items one by one, instead open your inventory and hit the "repair all" button. Doing repairs this way doesn't cost any essence dust. Probably a bug, but a nice one. Also essences have weight too, so later when you start piling a lot of different tier essences you may be wondering why you are so weighted down even when there are not a lot stuff in your backpack, check the weight of your essence stacks. I have currently 2K T1 essence and 1K T2 essence on my character, and those take a hefty chunk out of my weight capacity. Unfortunately there is no way to store essences in chests.

I usually do repair all but for some reason my backpack broke and it took me about 20 mins to figure it out. It’s wild you have that much essence you need to go wild with the upgrades 😅

@@Crabbytron I found a treasury eminent card bp pretty early, and I have ran the fae tower first thing in every realm, and played the treasury card. I get a lot of essence drops from killing animals and harvesting bushes. I've bought every recipe from every trader and upgraded all my gear, so I have no use for essence until I progress to new realms. I'm currently trying to get the Gloom card unlocked. The Gloom site of power is kicking my ass. Made me rage quit today. 🤣🤣🤣

@@Crabbytron No you can't reuse them, but if you know the recipe you can craft them in the enchanting table. Playing the card on the machine uses the card. You can also change the minor card effect by playing another type of card on the realm machine.
