Hello Thank you for this information, I learned something new! I have trouble cooking as well , but I found using an Instant pot has been a game changer for me!!! So many dump and cook receipes that don't involve chopping . highly recommend the instant pot , I also have been looking into the ninja air fryer both these appliances reduce cooking time which helps with pain management. So great to see you again ! Hope you are feeling good xx
I just wanted to tell you that every since you posted this comment, I have wanted an instapot...haha. I asked for and received one for Christmas. Boy, they are great! I've made homemade chicken noodle soup and a pot roast in 45 min that would have taken me 10 hours. I really love that there's only 1 pot to clean up. Thank you so much for the suggestions. I've thought of you every since I got my own instapot....I thought, I need to tell Julie, I got one too...so excited!
@@TheCRPSNetwork Awe That's such great news!! I am so glad you are enjoying the instant pot and happy I could help. You will love the cheese cake although alot of stirring which was painful for me it was so yummy! Six Sisters on youtube is a great resource for the best recipes my favorite is the cashew chicken and yogurt OMG yogurt is like a dessert and nice to know all the ingredients in it. Before christmas i did invest in the instant pot air fryer OMG again game changer and worth every penny , be sure to put that on your birthday list LOL. Thank you for thinking of me and again so happy you love it
Thank you so much for this info......I believe for me it’s a combo of my meds and lack of sleep. I love this channel. I am Administrator tor a CRPS support group and page on FB. I share a lot of your posts with them. Thank You.
Hi I definitely gained 20 pounds I started to walk a little .wanted to ask you if you had a bad experience with the nerve block I had one of the three and I feel worse than before how long does it take to start to work if you know please let me know I’m not sure at this point I do should get the 2 more nerve block
Ana, I have not had any bad experiences with blocks. When you say worse, do you mean your CRPS pain? Or worse because of the soreness at the injection site? I would be sore where they injected the block for a few days but would get pain relief within a day or two. It would last about 2 weeks. Did you have one limb super hot or cold before the block and did it help normalize the temp afterwards?
The CRPS Network my neck and hand are killing me I think the neck my be cause of the injection but I can’t even close my fingers hurts I’m not sure if this blocks are worth trying 😭
I joined weight watchers because I need help. I’ve gained alot of weight (I need to lose about 110 lbs) and now with this new CRPS diagnosis I had even gained a bit more. The lyrica makes me so hungry and the pain makes it hard to exercise.
My thyroid wen to shit once I was diagnosed with CRPS, this disease has DESTROYED my body. I also can't walk without some kind of assistance now. I honestly can't do much about my weight gain, unless you suffer with this in the areas where it interferes with the parts of the where the most activity stems from. My CRPS is in my legs and honey I used to be a gymnast and now i'm bed bound bed. The muscles in my legs have weakened very fast. Maybe once I get some real treatment for this I will loose weight but now I can't do more than I am doing.
I had 3 injections and not 1 ever helped so I gave up..Not worth it to me to ever go back.I gained 100 pounds when I was on lyrica it was terrible.. now I am off it I lost 65 pounds just by eating better and not carving sugar like I did before. I always try to walk more and do more since I lost weight. not that I feel better, but I tell myself I hurt no matter what so I should try more..I pray for you all that suffer too with this illness. it is not easy. Its been 11 years for me.
That's a really good question! I think I may do a video about this. I would like to do some research into this but off the top of my head, some suggestions: make time/plan things that you enjoy doing, take care of your body by eating well & meditating/deep breathing, connect with others (friends, family, support groups), take breaks from news and social media outlets, write in a 'gratefulness journal', and if you're ever in a bad situation and need desperately to talk to someone asap, there's the National Suicide Hotline: 1-800-273-TALK (8255)
