I picked this up off FB Marketplace for $450. It was in not running condition. Needed: Carb Work Oil Change Air filter Motor On/Off Switch Brake Adjustment New Seat Thorough cleaning oil front steering I'm into it for about $600.
It kinda depends...for motors I'll usually look up the parts on www.partstree.com, ebay, or amazon. If I need something immediately usually Tractor Supply has a decent selection. For Go Cart stuff I've been using Go Power Sports. Hope that helps.
They made: EX13 - 4.5 horsepower EX17 - 6 horsepower EX21 - 7 horsepower EX27 - 9 horsepower EX30 - 9.5 horsepower EX35 - 12 horsepower EX40 - 14 horsepower EX21 EFI - 7 horsepower EX27 All Season - 9 horsepower HP is approximate I don't believe for one second that the EX13 was ever 5.5 hp but lots of times different mfg's would use different hp ratings. That's why small motors are now listed in ft-lbs of torque per SAE standards. This is the second Manco go cart I've repowered and it makes a huge difference. Some people claim that "it's a go cart motor and upgraded. I don't believe that either, it's a stock commercial motor from Subaru Robin.
@@jamesbubnick it's weird why they didn't make a 5/5.5 hp engine, and just call it the ex15. I mean honda has one, kohler has one, briggs and so on. Guess we'll never know 😔
@@benjaminleslie3155 My guess is between the Honda GX160, GC160, Briggs, and Kohler they didn't think the market was large enough to support another motor.
