I just bought one for me and one for my son, I don't have a great deal of hair on my back but I really like how easy it is to use and it works very well I highly recommend it.
For a DIY person this is what I did for back hair. It works pretty good too. I got a 4" paint roller and put a 45degree bend in it, then added an extension handle. Squirt Nair on the pad and roll onto your back. Let it sit for about 10 min. Get in the shower and use a back brush to complete the hair removal.
I'm very hairy and the older (60s) I get the worse it gets. I'll be ordering one today and will send it back if I determine I'm actually turing into the wolf man.
It really just depends on what you're going to use it for. The back shaver makes easy work of shaving your back, while the bodygroom is great for buzzing your head and everything else.
I use a Merkur DE Safety Razor. I got something like 100 Feather blades for $20, and they'll likely last me the rest of my life. You definitely have to get used to using a DE razor, but once you do, you won't go back to regular!
So far, so good. Cleaned up pretty well. Charging it now. It was an opened box item from Amazon so it had low battery. I like the extension and the different angles. The original blade is good. I might try the 2nd blade for the stubble. I wish it came with a carrying case/bag.
Casey Friday Thanks for replying . I just have one more question. Which would you recommend? This product on your video or the Philips Norelco Bodygroom Plus 5100 (Model # BG2038/41). The Philips product also has an attachable back extender.
Jimmy Jordan I haven't used that Norelco before, but they usually put out good products (they just break too soon). I have tried the ManGroomer Body Pro body shaver, and I use it to shave my head. It works well, but one of the attachments on it also broke already. Really just depends on what you want to pay / what style you like better.
Casey Friday I see, thanks. Another question I'd like to ask. Regarding the new HEAD attachment, the one you said you didnt really like, does the New head cut more or give a more smooth effect compared to the original head?
I hate my Mangroomer is has got to be one of the grueling experiences of my life, it doesn't shave like a regular buzzer it literally pulls on every hair and have to keep going back and forth until it will shave a little patch, it takes hours to shave my back and its excruciating, ive written them and complained and they've done nothing I will never buy another one again.
@@hossemadian7127 Lol it's THE GREATEST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Take it from a hairy wog like me, it's a MUST HAVE!!!!!!!!!!!! Works very well. Super efficient.
This "Ultimate Pro" upgrade from their earlier design doesnt work. I used it once then threw it away. It just pulls the hair instead of curtting it. The manufacturer strayed from their initial design back in 2014 and the new version is nothing like that. It's utter garbage. Save your money.
