“…who promises to be a bridge to the afterlife, when in reality they are more like a conveyor belt on which the customer puts their money and watches as it transitions to the other side.”😂🤣😅 That’s just too funny. Great video, thank you for the laughter.😅🙌🏼Have a wonderful weekend Dr. Grande.❤️

What does the story about the watch suggest? That even in the glorious afterlife you are still worried about your earthly possessions? Imagine being a compulsive hoarder in the afterlife? It'd be torture.
Funniest analysis yet. WAY too many bon mots to name them all or pick one over the other. I've never seen you on such a roll before!!! I needed a good laugh, and boy did you exceed. Excellent analysis, Dr. Grande!
Thomas John I gather from listening to your very sharp and humorous analysis, Dr. Grande , is an absolute out and out charlatan, no doubt about that! Thanks 💜🌷Dr. G X hugely entertaining
After almost getting head on while delivering pizza it's nice to be able to relax to one of your videos Doc. When you said "not only could he talk to dead people.." I thought you were going to finish that by saying he could also talk to living people. Hahahaha.
@@bthomson thank you but I do. Tell everyone else. The person that almost hit me crossed the median and fully into my lane. I had to drive off the road slam on the breaks pizza went everywhere. They never slowed down or anything.
In the same street as a butchers shop I used to go to years ago was a, so called, psychic medium. He would advertise in his window about readings the costs of his services. The butchers shop was large and he had some building work done which meant he now had a smaller unit next to it to rent out. He was discussing with me one day what to do about it. I suggested he rent it out to a medium, then go to the other guy down the road and say “You didnt see that coming did you ?”.
Happy Saturday, handsome doc! Thanks for your reading on this individual. I believe you are accurate and you're not even a medium. You're a Grande! (WOW...please know I hate myself for thinking of that.) TJ's products sound so rinky-dink. Vibrational Enhancement? No comment. Grief Busters? Who you're gonna call. Grief Removal? Have your grief wheeled to the end of your driveway every Monday morning. Energy Alignment? Available at your nearest Speedway checkout counter! And people buy this stuff. Unbelievable. 😆
Hi Anna - Do you think that some people are so desperate to believe in an afterlife that they will listen to such an obvious fake? Their lives must not be very happy!
I notice the way Dr. Grande's fans bring him their woes! The problem may not be related to the video in any way but the fan feels better after venting!
Hello Dr. Grande, I have a difficult time understanding why people pay for services like the ones you explained in this video. I will not judge how different mentalities work but I have always found it to be nonsense when someone wants to talk to a dead person. Just weird to me. And your humor is priceless. Thank You for sharing with us. Best Regards. 👍❤
When you have been raised to believe that life after death is possible - then it is a small step to believe that some people can communicate with the dead. These people aren't stupid, they culturally were raised to think this is possible, even normal.
I do sometimes tarot reading for fun, it must be done for intertainment only. I don't believe in divination. It must be like listening to a story or improvisation. Sometimes it is funny. I asked "Does hell exist?" And the devil card jumped out of the deck when I began to shuffle it, lol
In addition to everything you laid out I'd like to pop oint people to the BBB and Yelp. He has over 75 complaints on the BBB alone because his grift is ge reschedules people over and over for years. He rescheduled me 8 times within a month and was a no show for one time and cancelled 30 mins before for another. I found out more about his scam during this and ended up getting him to refund me $400 after making it clear I'd go public. I have talked to dozens of people he's done this too. As the lovely Susan Gerbic says, he's a grief vampire. We believe he mainly reschedules those of us with not enough info online to fake a reading lol
Good thing social sciences have evolved in the latest years, Imagine a 4 years old back in the 50's talking to dead relatives... Probably he would been fixed with electro convulsion therapy or a mild lobotomy xD
@@cht2162 but you got to admit nothing with such long lasting effects as a little bit of brain scrambling, we could say social sciences and para-science serve the same function to society in any case.

@@cht2162 you can look it up. 90% of the church in the US and round the world at that time felt that dark skinned humans were somehow not human. we didn't discover dna until the last 50 years or so. and the quakers were first to push the concept that dark skinned people were the same as white so great if your great grandfather was a quaker
Thomas John has an online RU-vid presence under the moniker of "Jesu Spectre" if you see posts supporting TJ by this person you're actually engaging with Thomas John himself, its damage limitation by John following Gerbic's exposé.
I'm from LA. I don't live there anymore, but I was born there and spent my first 30 years of life there. I can tell you the normal reaction to getting into a cab or rideshare etc that happened to be full of cameras would be disbelief or even worry. Yeah, that show was definitely fake.
It's been said Think Outside of the box? Shouldn't we be doing this too as humans" as that is how actual learning from life is? As for the subject there are people who claim to have predicted things in the future and I know of someone I can verify did so? Although the subject can only be trusted and I concur with real verification🌿🍃 (oh & the person didn't sell it period in fact was very ashamed to tell me?)
I can’t help but dabble in Tarot stuff, but I’ve always treated it like Introspection. There’s a certain type of fun in seeing how Chaos wants to organize for you, and there’s a thrill to feeling a pattern to the randomization. But, like self help, there’s no way to measure the result. It’s an entertainment event like having a talent for Stand Up. If someone enjoys having a psychic reading done, that should be their choice to spend money on that kind of fun or “revelations”. However, I take a real issue with someone thinking they can be a ventriloquist for past loved ones. That isn’t simple chaos fun anymore, and someone who is grieving or missing a loved one should be looking to heal themselves before spending any money on advertising Mediums. Anyone making ethical money doing divination entertainment would refuse to play medium anyway, but considering the word “psychic” is pretty much already associated with fraud, seeing someone with a scamming background dabbling in the “business” is upsetting but not surprising. On a positive note, dudes like this getting attention pressures other people who feel like they have a talent for the entertainment to act right. I don’t believe all psychics are scammers, or that the entertainment is worthless to everyone, but I do agree that it’s an unregulated wild west where con artists can easily blend in. I’m glad for the vigilante cowboys who want to clean up or just overturn the entire industry. It still shines light on the bad faith entertainers regardless of intention. When people are free to act however they want without accountability, making sure everyone else has the full story is the next best thing. Considering he freely offer his Improv psychic work with dubious Lyft or Uber driving, on a channel that’s most popular as a punchline, I feel pretty chill about the direction his career is going.
Dr. Grande, can you talk about the factors that may be at play with so-called psychic kids? There are tv shows about this subject. Thanks for the top-not h content!
"Item number two is the appeal that Thomas has to celebrities he claims to have provided services to...which gives people one more reason to be disappointed in celebrities." LMAO This is brutally epic and funny. 😅🤣😂😂 Dr Grande needs to host SNL!
I love when Dr. Grande's gives great insights and analysis while also adding his very subtle hints of dry humor and sarcasm at while keeping a straight professional dead-pan face and posture 😁...I usually bring out the Popcorn and Wine in watching his productions.
Mediums are no more than Con Artists ... Period . There is No Such Thing as speaking to the dead or "spirits" . If you "Believe" that shit then you deserve what you get . It used to be called Cold Reading, the most simplest form of this Con . To believe things is to be Convinced of something Without Evidence . Best to Know not "believe" .

"So, his grandfather was terrorizing a four-year-old to find out the disposition of his watch." Hilarious! PS-I'd love to see an analysis of Stanislav Aksinov, who parachutes off cliffs with a parachute attached to his back piercings, and other people who participate in extreme, bizarre stunts.
@@coweatsman This reminds me of an anniversary card I found in a liquor store as a kid. On the front of the card is said, "Happy Anniversary. You wanna watch..." open card, and on the inside, it said, "...or would you rather participate?"
and he showed up again 3 years later, still bitchin' about the watch - HAHAHA! Dr. Grande's delivery & eye roll had me giggling to the point where I couldn't even pay attention to what he said after. I had to pause the video, wipe away the laugh-tears, catch my breath, & compose myself before continuing on.
No. They care about revenge and justice. It's the principle of the timepiece being stolen...not the actual chronometer itself. Don't speak of things whereof you have apparently little comprehension, please. Gregg Oreo long beach ca
I understood it to be about the watch being given to his friend rather than his wife. That watch was worth thousands of dollars, and he probably wanted it to go to his wife for added financial security. Then again, after reading about TJ's past scams, being arrested, etc., it seems he's likely a fake, just like all the rest.
Emergency Reading: For the grand total of 200 bucks, I'll give you a reading so that you can talk to your wife on where did you put your glasses. (Spoiler Alert: They're on your head.) --Thomas John, probably.
I do believe in the paranormal but I also admired and respected James Randi's work. In his pursuit of debunking the paranormal, he was also teaching people to be critical thinkers and to ask questions. Sometimes, nothing is what it seems to be.
He was great. And I loved the Johny Carson episode where he went after the psycho kinesis people. Carson had been a magician when he was young, and he did this shizen five or six times a week, so he knew exactly how these guys did it.
James Randi was a good friend of Mark Edward and myself and we are following in his footsteps when stinging these grief vampires. In fact the James Randi Foundation funded our non-profit. So Randi is alive and well in the activism of others.
"Psychic medium" is just another way of saying "blatant, shameless fraud." "Working as a psychic medium" is just another way of saying "making a living as a con artist."
Why would you want to insult shameless frauds by putting them in the same category? As bad as they are, they don't deserve that. Mediums are a few levels lower on the Scum Scale.
What you said about him receiving money for nonexistent apartments being criminal yet him receiving money for giving no actual information being legal and socially acceptable (and praised even!) by a lot of people is a really valid point. When he posted those nonexistent apartments, he knew he was tricking people for money. He had criminal intent. And I think many people, myself included, would agree that he has criminal intent when he is telling a person about their deceased relative. He doesn't actually believe he's telling these people things from their deceased loved ones that only he can hear. He is telling them the same information that anyone who can get on Facebook or Google search obituaries can, plus I imagine a few of those overdone psychic lies sprinkled in, like "Your father says he's proud of you and he's in a good place now, no longer in pain. He wants you to move on and take good care of the baby." 😲😲😲 (Oh, the baby that his wife just made a facebook post about and tagged him in 2 weeks ago? Yes, that one). 🙄
I worked at a garage when I was younger I would sit at the back big truck door and eat my lunch over looking the back lot which was basically enclosed by a building a cemetery and pine trees. I would leave leftover donuts from the prior mornings coffee break out in the lot and the crows would fly in and take them I thought how comical it was watching a crow grab and fly off with a whole doughnut. I wondered if it would ever be possible to get closer to the birds after doing this for some time crows are after all very skittish kind of paranoid it seems. The day I was thinking this about the crows I had eaten my lunch watched the crows take their doughnuts and went to a nearby store to purchase a newspaper I had walked a few blocks and on my way back I noticed a crow in the road at the side of the garage which lead to the back lot just standing there as I walked closer to it I expected it to fly away but it didn't I got right up to the crow and looked down at it and it kind of crouched down and spread out its wings looking back at me and made a bird sound. I looked around thinking this can't be happening so I bent down and picked up the crow which by its size I figured was young one it didn't resist at all I walked to the back lot where I feed the crows the doughnuts and looked around and figured it was lost perhaps I climbed up on a old shipping container next to some big pine trees with the crow and I pointed the it towards the trees and gave it a little toss and it flew and landed on a branch. I looked at it it looked at me and I turned climbed down walked back to the garage and walked in the big back door that was for big trucks where I would sit eat my lunch and feed the crows doughnuts. When I looked back at the tree the crow was gone and nowhere to be seen. I could never figure that incident out and I wondered just minutes before how long before a crow if ever would trust someone enough to let you near it and fifteen minutes later I was holding one. Am I a crow whisperer? Or was it a wish granted by God? Was there someone buried in the cemetery listening to my thoughts. Or just a weird coincidence. It was a rather strange event I could never explain. Well Dr. Grande what do you think?
Perfect timing again Doc 🌵 started freaking out and kinda overwhelmed with the situation in Eastern Europe. And now we are here! I really appreciate you. 🌵💢💯

@@ChantalOfTheNorth you might be surprised. many things in life are completely unexplainable. pray to open your mind and see. of course, it's all scientifically based. just lie the internet was developed. you could not have imagined it back on 1982, but psychics were actually trying to explain it back then and everyone thought they were the looney tunes. but now we have the internet and we no longer consider it the wild crazy imaginings of psychics. you don't know what you don't know
What's unbelievable here is that some people, even in the face of absolute 💯 proof of fraud still choose to believe in and pay good money for this garage
I don’t know who should question their own mental state; Mediums, or the people that hire them. Both groups are absolutely off their nut if they really believe the dead can be contacted. Perhaps my greatest loss was when my Father passed away unexpectedly 20 years ago. As Dr Grande mentioned, many of us feel a sense of unfinished business when we lose someone close. There is so much I wish I could tell my Father even today. But I am fully aware that it is just not possible. It has NEVER crossed my mind to ask for a Medium’s help. I also believe it’s not real wise to suggest that God has put one in touch with the dead as some kind of gift. Depending on your faith, most Christians would agree that God uses gifts to bring others into his kingdom. I would think twice about saying God gifted me to me a celebrity Medium. Ticking off the big G is not a good plan
Hi Dr Grande, could you cover Bam Margera and his recent instagram meltdown. I am interested in what you think about his behaviour and his constant victimhood. Thanks.

If you have seen the movie "nightmare alley" you realise that this desire to speak to the dead is timeless, as is the desire to exploit people who are overcoming serious loss.

After my mom died I would have dreams about her still being alive. I would remember the dreams which was unusual for me. I would ask her why was everyone saying that she was dead? Then I had a dream about her packing a suitcase and she told me that she was moving away. I was so sad that she was leaving, and I didn't dream about her so much any more. I think my mom was coming to me in my dreams to help me get over her death.
