Manifesta 15 Barcelona - Mobility 

For the 15th edition of the European Nomadic Biennial, Manifesta was invited by the City of Barcelona to work within the larger local geographical landscape in order to decentralise, expand and rethink local cultural networks between the Metropolitan Region and Barcelona.
With a pre-biennial programme commencing in 2023 and through a series of newly commissioned works, site-specific projects, and research orientated investigations, Manifesta 15 will looks through the eyes of Barcelona and through the specific perspectives of artistic collectives, to the world. These collectives will, together with communities and citizens, explore urgent political, social, ecological and geological consequences of mobility, consumerism and the unlimited growth of the territory.
