I like how everyone in the comments is like “he dissed the alt girls lol” when really he dissing any “perfornative activists” whether they white or black or rich
Love the commentary here, vouching on BLM's importance while calling out all the performative activists who unfortunately make the movement look like a joke. I appreciate this movement commentary man, and such a gorgeous flow too Edit: I can already see where this comment thread is going based off comments I'm seeing so I'm going to state my position. It's loud minority situations and fake supporters which racists constantly use to pin BLM as a "joke" or "bad thing". Things that have happened around the movement have made an overarching huge impact, and the situations where victims faces are being plastered to the extent of clout are individual cases which are absolutely putrid and don't define the fight. To downplay a near decade old racial rights movement to shitty performative Twitter activist is ignorant and horrid. Black Lives Matter. There should never be a "but" or "what if".
@@Th-tg4zm Who cares about some organization with BLM's name? It's a movement. And obviously some parents are gonna be mad that their kids are all over the news, but shouldn't you be more concerned with why these people are all over the news in the first place?

I like the beginning. Pointing out how white folks will force black people to speak about issues that affect them only because they want to appear like saviors making a change, when in reality the only reason why they’re caring about social issues affecting black people is because it’ll boost their persona. Edit: not to mention that white people will only associate a certain group of people with the issues that they face, so when they force a certain group of people to talk about an issue that affects that group (for example: black people and police brutality), they’re showing that they only believe they can be associated with their problems and white people with the solutions Also this isn’t me saying I don’t support blm and I don’t think you should show support cuz I’m very supportive of it lol don’t get it confused I’ve just noticed how white people used it as a chance to be performative
@@tj013. when black people do it they want to see if someone they care for is an ally towards them. When a white person does it they want to seem like they care for the issue
“ I feel like anything I say dawg I’m screwing shit up so I just tell these black babies they should do what they want” I love those lyrics cause he do be helping us with self confidence and different shit.
He brought in Domo Genesis, I miss him voice brings me back to the Odd Future days and my boy Tyler said “I might not have Dread locks, I have these gold teeth, I am a nigga like you and you’re nigga like me , let’s be niggas together, let’s be niggas with plans” that’s a bar💯🔥🔥
"Am I doin' enough or not doin' enough? I'm tryna run with the baton, but see, my shoe's in the mud I feel like anything I say, dawg, I'm screwin' shit up (Sorry) So I just tell these black babies, they should do what they want" Tyler fighting the good fight.
@@dayas4593 yea maybe, so far, idk what to make of this album? im not done yet but it doesn't seem to be on wolf & igor's lvls honestly, those albums were far better. this one's like on par wit flowerboy, slightly inferior to it aswell. but im not gonna give it a final verdict yet, im gonna hear it like 10 more times until i know 4 sho where it ranks up wit his work. cuz that's how i always do anyway, i replay albums enough times to make sure where they really belong on a list. it's just that...wolf is too much of a beast man, that album might end up being his best forever. cuz it doesn't seem like tyler's able to top that masterpiece? that's a hip hop classic.
I was thinking "something's missing here, but I haven't heard this song before..." then I remembered that backwards fist fucked mario sample is missing lol
@@sdewey4152 Tyler is talented in more ways than just rapping though. He may not be a Nas level rapper but he’s a great producer and visual artist. To undermine his talent is crazy
i’m just worried racist weirdos are gonna hear this and be like “my respect for tyler📈📈” 🤓 thinking that he’s against blm or something😭 song is such a banger tho
Yeah when I first heard this I was thinking about Nas streets disciple in my head because I bought the CD when it came out the double CD it was okay out and their songs I like but this album is fired I love it they both kill it
@@MvsG18 it's neither. it samples this song: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-yt8bRoeq6bc.htmlsi=J1rtkywPCGx_S2Br which is sampled by nas and blarf
Damn! I just discovered him today and started binging the albums. When I got onto this track I had to stop my reading and replayed the song at least five times plus searching for the lyrics online! It is such a banger, especially the begging at the beginning got me to laugh so much I'm dead 💀It's so well done🤣. Yeah he's a real one
This album is THE BEST ending to Tyler's discography. Every song feels like a vibe associated to one of his album, so I completely agree with the people who says the album feels like a victory lap. Because IT IS. And the way there's a flow for every song like where every album had a different flow. So, this is a VICTORY LAP, ladies and gentleman.

Miss OF , This gave me a brief moment of recollection and nostalgia, best song on the tape for me, thank you tyler lets hope we can see Earl and Tyler or all of OF get back for a song or something, loved hearing Domo again, im glad we are all good and still breathing.
@@catherinejohnson3368 girls that get their fake goth/emo fashion from tiktok. Sometimes they like Asian fishing and sometimes they like to be performative activists. And some of those words are also from my tiktok vocabulary
tyler really hit important topics on this song and I loved it such as calling out performative activism, colonization, and most importantly: ORGANIZING!
It’s really cool that Tyler still collabs with Domo even tho his career hasn’t blown up yet. Awkward Groove & Red Corolla alone should put him on the same level but mainstream tastes don’t work that way
ya'll fr got to stop on the people who joined in late. It doesn't make you superior if you came after bastard or goblin. just let people listen to their taste in music.
This definitely gives me of tape one, of unreleased tapes(all) even the songs before and or without Domo, rolling papers and something else I can't quite put my fingers on. Loving it
A great sample of Jimmy Smith's "I'm gonna love you just a little bit more babe". Which Fishmans also sampled in their "Just Thing", which is the one I think Tyler used in this track. Both are great songs that I recommend everyone here to listen to if you haven't already.
