YESS I AGREE people need to understand that manners are TIMELESS 😭😭 thank you for touching up on this subject ❤ God Bless you

I think it should be common courtesy for people to introduce themselves when messaging or calling someone for the first time; rather than waiting for the person to ask who they are. Especially when it's not someone they're well acquainted with.

Great job Sara. ❤ Here are 2 that come to mind: 1. Calling elders ny their first name. 2. Opening the refrigerator at a place you're visiting!

Oh my goodness yes the refrigerator one ! Unless it’s close family and they don’t mind , I would absolutely never open someone’s fridge and if someone opened mine I’d be so mortified

1. Clean up your mess 2. Saying please and thank you 3. Walking at a respectful pace 4. Returning items to others 5. Clean up the sink when you're at someone's place 6. Give people your full attention when talking to them 7. Do not talk with your mouth full (or with gum) 8. Airplane etiquette - Don't spray perfume in airplane, Reclining seats, Taking off your shoes 9. Greeting back 10. Waiting on people

I like to intentionally make the person I’m talking to (stranger or not ) feel as if they are the most important thing in the room to me as we are conversing, or hanging out! Undivided attention and good body language! Also I hate double booking my friends (without prior notice). These stuff seem like common sense but you’d be surprised to find out how many people don’t know or couldn’t care less 😭😭! thx for the vid, I always enjoy 💕💕💕

Not gonna lie growing up I was never really taught about manners like other people's parents did so now that I'm entering adulthood videos like these have been extremely helpful, Id love it if you did a continuation of this topic in the future❤

I agree so much ! As an Arab we were raised to do some of these but also I have some manners or acts I like to force my self to get used to . Other than saying hi ( as a Muslim) I used to always meet people or hand shake we say asalam alaykum and alaykum as salam and when they used to reach their hand out ( while standing ) I used to sit for a long period of time then get up ( I forgot how disrespectful it is in the Arab community) and I forced myself to stop and get up whenever there is someone to meet and go say hi and not wait for them to come to me it’s like a your welcome here gesture

Oh my goodness- I totally agree with this, people need to also respect your space, my mom drilled this into me, if I've moved something and you happen to not remember, iv'e learned to atleast take the time tothink about it before blurting out " I don't know " I really don't like this at all when someone does this to me. If you lovingly packed my room or my space without my consent atelast have the decency to remember where you placed stuff . At this point my mother is the ONLY one who can change up my space because she's goes as far as asking the Holy Spirit to remind her should she not remember

You touched on a bunch of ones that you already know I'm all about, but Mr. Beery reminded me that I also make people say good morning before they start in with their requests for the day. He watched your video with me. You made him smile. We're proud of you, as always ❤️.

A million percent! It seems like gen Z down just didn’t learn manners, I can’t tell you how many times I have to correct the kids I work with when they ask me to do something, or remind them to say please and thank you. I was raised on yes ma’am no ma’am, yes sir no sir. Adults were Mr. (Last name) or Mrs. (Last name). Seeing the kids that I work with being so disrespectful, it’s crazy!

I’d say also letting people know if you’re going to be late or not going to make it. I’ve had it happen where I had to reach out to someone to find out they couldn’t make it, and I found that part to be more upsetting than the fact that they had made other plans. Be aware when people are waiting for you

thank you for this video! honestly i am very shocked these days by some people's lack of manners and boundaries :( to me it is very important to honor and respect everyone especially elders and those who are helping me and doing services. there are such small ways to adjust language to show clear respect to others. for example, I feel a little peeved when people are ordering things and say "ill have/get the" instead "may I please/can I/ could I have/get". i feel like it shows so much more respect to frame things in a requesting manner instead of a more entitled way. i also often hear so many moments in conversations/interactions where people could say thank you but don't. expressing gratitude is so important

This kinda goes hand in hand with starting drama, but when you’re on the receiving end and not the one who started it, stop seeking revenge!! Handle it with the person privately and if they’re still acting uncool just move on with your life
