Many Voices of Casey Kasem - An Animated Tribute (Shaggy Rogers, Robin) 

The funny thing is that both he and Frank Welker originally auditioned for the others role. Casey wanted to be Fred and Frank wanted to be Shaggy and of course they were cast in the roles they became famous for.

Same deal with Robin, the Boy Wonder, after Filmation first cast him in that role in Batman & Robin(1968-70)!!!

CROSSOVER ANIMATION STUDIOS he still did a couple of episodes of Mystery inc as Shaggy’s dad

He retired in 2009 (announced about the day before Michael Jackson's death) but animation takes a while to be produced, so that's probably why it came out the following year

Guy Aoki I know about the length of time for animation but he briefly came out of retirement specifically to do those roles because he was only in about 5 episodes scattered across seasons :)

Guy Aoki like I said, he only reprised the role of Shaggy’s father, nothing else and he was still doing scooby doo back in ‘06 unless you meant ‘09?

Casey Kasem wouldn't do Shaggy's voice if Shaggy was shown eating meat because he was a vegetarian.(I can understand that because I've been a vegetarian since 1985.) Not surprisingly, the first time he wouldn't do Shaggy's voice was for a Burger King commercial. He didn't do Shaggy's voice in the early direct-to-video movies like Scooby Doo and the Cyber Chase, which showed Shaggy (and Scooby) eating hamburgers and hot dogs. Starting with What's New Scooby Doo Casey Kasem was back on board as the voice of Shaggy, on the condition that Shaggy not be shown eating meat. For instance, in Aloha Scooby Doo! Shaggy (and Scooby) eat fruit, ice cream and cake. Unfortunately after Casey Kasem's death Shaggy was back to eating meat. In Frankencreepy Shaggy and Scooby enter (and win) a bratwurst-eating contest.

He did voice his dad in that series as well.
