Just as the name states, this is a marabou bodied fly. I was tying up some Woolly Buggers for a friend when I discovered the trick of using the excess tail fibers to cover the lead wraps and in turn form a body. Just a simply variation and still considered a Woolly Bugger fly, just a fun new technique I thought I would share that maybe already is out there. Also, adding the marabou fibers to make it dubbing on the thread is something I will be incorporating into many other patterns.
