@@rtoomer92 There's a reason why the term "point forward" became popular during the LeBron era. Because of LeBron's style of playing the position where he assumes the position of a forward but takes on the point guard responsibilities as well. Paul Pierce, Carmelo Anthony, Paul George, and Kawhi Leonard do not play that way. They can do so when called up to perform in that role. However it is not ideal to have your primary scorer and primary ball handler be the same person.

It's too soon he just lost the series and balled out and i do feel a slight slight in what pippen said. Felt like it was more about exalting lebron than criticizing kd constructively. Kd was humbled as he really thought he was going to win. I truly believe durant was shocked that he lost and is doing his own soul searching and making upgrades. He's going to get even better which is scary.

Exactly. To constructively criticize someone, the conversation should be about them only. LeBron's name had no place here. Why? Because LeBron was already sitting at home and KD had just lost. KD didn't flinch or quit despite the challenge. However we all saw LeBron James quit, 2 times in the first round loss. Pippen should have only mentioned how Michael Jordan would have handled the situation.

My sister is a college coach and told me one time that the best players make the worst coaches because they can not really explain their processes. Players that have to grind just to make it as a walk on, they are always the best. An Alex Caruso, a Malcom Brogdon, a PJ Tucker over looked grinders. Being a coach is loving the grind. Peak Tiger Woods still had a swing coach.

@@noirmanoir1061 I agree dame isn't a superstar. He is a hall of fame all star. In my definition of superstar you have to lead your team to the chip and or at least win. Or regularly make it to the conference finals. Win a regular season mvp make multiple first teams 2nd teams etc. And then it comes down to stats. For example, lebron, Kd, Stephe, Kawhi, James harden and Giannis are all superstars. There impact on the game is extraordinary high. Tra young has propelled himself to that superstar conversation with his performance this year. And Devin. Which means they're almost there.

Read the entire article in GQ, what is going on is taking what Scotty said, and writing their interpretations of the answer Scotty gave to the question he was ask. His answer make a lot of sense. And in the end tells why KD wasn’t successful, because of the situation his coach put him in.

KD spoke truth about Pippen. KD did pass the ball his team didn’t make a basket nor want the ball. Go back and watch the game. If his pinky toe wasn’t on the line we wouldn’t discussing this. Echo is the only analyst that agreed with Pippen. KD is the ultimate team player KD lost its on KD when Bronx loses he plays with bums and he needs HELP but Bron played with Ray Allen, Wade Bosh and won 2 chips (1 on the back on Ray Allen) he played with Kyrie and Love won 1 and now with AD and won a bubble chip.
