I’m reading If the Boot Fits right now. Totally agree that’s it’s a good book. I’m enjoying the relationship growth with her Dad. Hits home for me.

I would love to see a flip through of your reading journal! I'm also always interested in how folks make the book covers for in their journals. Programs, sizes, etc. I'm still trying to decide what will work for me.

In March, I ended up reading Recorder, Aberration and Guardian! Loved the characters so much! I hope your library gets them soon. 💗

Recorder!! I have a book buying ban going on right now. So when I start back up in June I believe that will be my first choice. I have been wanting to read it for a while now, but my library doesn't have it. Then I saw many people were reading it for book clubs. You read the whole series!! It sounds like a book I would like.

@@AlmasBookJourney I don't think I've ever read a whole trilogy in a month before! I fell in love with the characters early on and had to see what would happen to them! I'd guess that you'll like Recorder. But if you don't, it's A-OK! As fast as this year is going, June will be here before we know it!

Bummer when a book starts putting you off reading. I also struggle to dnf but I'm slowly getting better at it. Too many 5* reads out there waiting for us, girl! I hope your April reading is stellar, Alma! 🌷

The guilt really gets to me when I hear how good a book is supposed to be and I don't like it. I am already reading 2 good books this month so I am on a good start!

I've only read one book by Karen Witemeyer (Texas Christmas Carol) and really enjoyed it, I need to read more!

I teach a history through literature class at our co-op and we read Stalin by Albert Marrin just before Christmas. Fascinating and horrifying at the same time. I cannot imagine living like they did under him.

I’m very interested in The Gulag Archipelago! Have you read his One Day in the Life of Ivan Denisovich? It’s great. I had a great reading month in March. I did hit a few things for the different readathons, but I ended up being very mood reader-ish!

I haven't read One Day in the life book so I put that on my TBR because it sounds like a good follow up to the book I am reading. I am going to mood read more this month as and just enjoy myself.

I don't think you're missing out on anything with The Nature of a Lady. Normally I love Roseanna M White, but this book I only gave 2 stars. Mostly I completely disagreed with the theology she was presenting in the characters' dialogues.

I've heard a few people say they didn't like the theology and/or it was super slow. I don't think I'm going to pick it up. Appreciate yalls thoughts!

Yes DNF if you're not enjoying it!! Even though I really enjoy RMW (haven't read that particular book by her), I would DNF her books too if I'm not enjoying them. Too many books too little time.

@AlmasBookJourney It is hard to get your shirt fully in the frame for a video.Whenever I'm doing that it's like, I can't see myself. My eyesight is so bad so I don't know how I look unless i'm closer but then you can't see my shirt lol

The nature of a lady has been my least favorite book by her. I liked it, but I didn’t love it- and I have loved everything else I have read by her so far.
