I wonder if they did better down there in Brazil compared to when I heard them at Rock im Park in Germany some years back. Man, since then I cannot even listen to their recordings anymore, this is how bad they performed live. It wasn't just the bad performance, but the sheer attitude. Seemed like they really, REALLY didn't want to be there and just spit something into the fans faces and leave asap, combined with poor musician craftsmanship.

Remember when Manson started, our parents FREAKED and radio was taken over by this drum beat followed by a hard, quick and accurate downward power chord. And from there, it just broke loose and wowed us all. Now, 3 decades later, this SOB is a fucking scholar. He guest speaks at schools around the country/world. He meets people with open arms. Look at the relationship between him and Eminem (Slim Shady). Two opposites of the spectrum but one thing in common. They love music and reaching out to people. Not all artists are junk. Which is what a lot of 90s parents, and Tipper Gore, thought of this man. They saw him as an evil being. Brought to earth to ruin the youth. They were wrong.
