I remember the first time I saw a picture of Marilyn. I was truly mesmerised. I was about 6 and from then have been forever fascinated by her. Her spirit is truly eternal. I have never purchased chanel no.5 but always have a little smell when I go to department stores. It may be cliche to say but it’s like I am connected to her there and then. She was a unique soul. Gentle, loving, beautiful and unique. She will forever be my icon🤍.

My top of the list. Marilyn always fascinated me since I was a child. The day I learned about her, I promised I would visit her crypt one day, and I kept my promise. That was a day I will never forget. Without having a map of the place, I walked from the gates straight to her resting place like if someone took my hand and guided me (according to my partner’s words who saw me walking as if I was with someone else). I sprayed her plate with N5 and felt her close to me the whole day. Chanel N5 will always be tied to her memory and the day we spiritually met.

I'm from Argentina and it's VERY difficult to find vintage perfumes, and more difficult to find old formulas. The new reformulation of N°5 has a very soft fixation on me, I want to try with Arpege, but I only can find the new formula😪

Can you tell me how different the vintage chanel n5 smell like compared to the current version in stores today? People say the vintage is sweeter and sexier, whereas the current one just doesnt smell the same at all
