Your show is awesome and you give such a wonderful in-depth breakdown of celebrity lives and also sometimes you share your personal take on the spirituality of a situation and I always particularly love that. I think your channel is really tops, and it shows how much time and research you put into it. Just a gentle suggestion on the music (and I do love your brothers work too. I’m not sure if he’s doing the background in this video), but the synthesizer chatty sounds compete with what your saying. It creates a sort of background mental tension, like when you’re in the car talking to a friend and the navigation system talks over you for most of the trip. and also the repetitiveness of the chatty sounds particularly makes it distracting (like a phone ringing that won’t stop). I usually watch your videos after a long day to unwind while I’m making dinner, and especially in that tired state of mind the chatty sounds get in the way of me focusing and enjoying what you’re talking about. it would be nice if the background music is more neutral, and softer/quieter than your voice. because after all, everyone comes here to hear you. 😊

Omg the bj scene with JFK was just like wtf that was NOT necessary!! I wish the actress, who I thought did a good job with what she was given, would’ve fought against doing that. Just exploiting Norma Jean’s life all over again.

it is not nor was it her genius. the studio bought her estate. the only way they can keep making money is by milking her existence. the fact that she's constantly referenced and costumed by singers and actresses alike with blond wigs is the studio creating a movie pop culture. if it ain't referenced it does not become culture in order for something to reach pop culture it needs to be constantly referenced. ya'll fans are so blind. just look at this from outsider perspective, no bias: she's the kim k of her time. imagine in 50 years people calling Kim a genius nvm the theft of black culture, when majority of tabloids were paid by mommager kris to keep her relevant.

Personally I believe what she went through was true. I’ve read multiple biographies of her and there’s witnesses to a lot of the things she went through. Lots of people lie on her for some reason, people do it out of jealousy because she was so iconic. I was seggsually abused by family and if someone wrote a book about me and only interviewed my family then my family would make it look like I lied about everything. My family covered everything up! People will do anything to hide the truth and make you look like YOUR the problem. That’s why I believe what a lot of these actors went through. Yes there are some that lie but there’s many who don’t and people like to make it seem like victims are doing this for attention ❤️

Marilyn did have a very hard life but she did fabricate a lot, that is true. I don’t blame her, you have to remember she was a very young girl alone in the world. To survive she exploited peoples sympathies. One example is she was living at a studio club, a nice place for starlets, but she went days without eating. She wanted to move in with her boyfriend and his family. So one day she had him drive her home, but instead of the studio club she took him to a bad part of town to an apartment invested with bugs that belonged to a friend. He immediately had her move in with his family. He was pissed off when he found out what she did lol.

Marilyn Monroe was very intelligent with a high I.Q. Although she had a troubled childhood, she had grit, determination, and talent. She was a wonderful comedic actress who became a serious dramatic one. But the studio execs wanted her to continue playing "dumb blonde" roles. Read a book about her year in NYC. She quit Hollywood. Lived in NYC to study acting. That's where she met Arthur Miller. Sadly, her own demons and the big bucks lured her back to Hollywood. Her marriage crumbled. She died soon after. I doubt she took her own life. She had projects in development and was taking control of her own life and career. She will always be a major icon.

people like Monty Clift and Shelley Winters told how she took pills by the handful. Shelley even talked about going over there many times and Marilyn being so high because she forgot she had taken the pills and took double the amount. So sad but I do believe it was an accidental overdose. She had tried to kill herself 2 times after being fired from SGTG. That is why Mrs. Murray was living with her. She had promised Martin she would behave herself. I don't think she would have gone back on that.

I read somewhere that she was given a lethal dose of barbiturates through a forced enema. It would have been easy for them to do as she would have been in a drug/champagne induced semi coma and wouldn't have been able to fight back. They just held her down and forced the enema into her backside. That is why there were no traces of drug found in her stomach.

@elizabeth70700
@elizabeth70700 Год назад
You're absolutely right. But the "danger " you are referring to is because of the "social contract". The "danger" is when you get involved with someone who does not come from the same socioeconomic background, therefore corrupt people will use it as an excuse to execute the individual and claim that it is because of the social order and it is "forbidden". Marilyn was an "orphan " and therfore she was used and abused by Hollywood and touted as a sex symbol and prostitute for wealthy men. If she came from a richer family this would not have happened to her. The poorer women were to be used as prostitutes and harlots and then banned from "normal" functional society.

You are correct, but that isn't all Norma Jean's fault. Of course they would create a more tragic childhood. This is something EVERY Hollywood studio would do to give them more appeal. Marilyn was a character. That's it. I wouldn't say SHE ever lied. Cause it wasn't her lie. She was an actress. She had to play the part. Back in her day, actors couldn't EVER break character. Always love your videos - regarding MM’s death, there was a water glass, Fred O’tash was proven to be a crook looking for money for his story, and Robert Kennedy is proven to have been out of town with his family visiting another family. It’s interesting with the insane amount of pill bottles, prescriptions and her years of drug abuse that everyone questions her death as a suicide, yet when we talk about heath ledger, not a peep. I agree with what you said, they don’t speak on her poetry because it’s not salacious. But these murder rumors certainly are just that.

They never mention her doctor prescribed her over 750 pills in the span of 2 months either. Or that it’s normal for an addict to have no pill residue in their stomach. What bugs me about the Kennedy stuff is it completely overshadows what was actually happening to Marilyn in 61/62.

She had normal sadness that anyone probably had in the 50s whereas being married usually doesn’t leave to peace of mind or satisfaction. I got from the movie(Blond) that alot of men betrayed, used, mocked, etc. her, it's sad about how the men in her life,(studio executives, her father and husband and male friends) treated her.NIAGARA is her best work in my opinion. Ive seen The Seven Year Itch, and Gentleman Prefer Blond also, Her husband got really mad at her for doing the scene( that aided in her iconic image( the scene where she is standing over a iron grate on the sidewalk and her dress flies up. showing her legs).The movie Blond is kind of sad, but it will open your eyes to what she really went through.
