Un medley du jeux Mario Galaxy 2 de Nintendo joué par l'orchestre de jeux vidéos à la Salle Pollack de l'Université McGill, à Montréal, le samedi 29 juin 2013 sous la direction de Jocelyn Leblanc.

+boettam Yeah, but "Yarn Yoshi Takes Shape" is just known as "Yoshi's Woolly World" in Smash. And "Dark Hallways" is just known as "Luigi's Mansion". And "In the Final" is just known as "The Final Battle". Your point is irrelevant.
Bromaticalpie Well, it's called "Decisive Battle of Fate" in the translated Japanese soundtrack or "The Final Fated Battle", which is a closer approximation than "The Final Bowser Theme", which looks just like a filler to indicate there's no official name yet.
I watched the Galaxy 1 video and this one back to back and I can say that the overall quality went up by quite a lot. I love these games to death so thank you for uploading these and the orchestra for playing this music. I especially love the main theme, final bowser battle and the credits, ohh man the credits
Every Direct, I pray to God they do a “Just one more thing...” and the title and theme shoots up on screen announcing 3. I would kill for it, but I am optimistic, I have a feeling we’ll hear something more from Galaxy soon...
Cooper Gordon let's go bruh Galaxy 1's music is composed better, but isn't really as managable as the music from the second. It is better as instrumental music. And where Galaxy 2 may be more complete, Galaxy 1 isn't as true to the Mario franchise, which is good. It's more original as a game and plays different than any Mario game before it. It introduces a whole new original cast of protagonists and antagonists and supplies a whole new view of the Mario series, while Galaxy 2 seemed to be lacking in that new magic feel
Johnny Sarro Galaxy 2 introduced more concepts, such as Yoshi, Fluzzard, Cloud Mario, Rock Mario, and others while Galaxy 1 only set the foundation that Galaxy 2 built off of. Galaxy 2 had better graphics and a solid soundtrack, but Galaxy 1 had music like Battlerock Galaxy, Gusty Garden Galaxy, Good Egg Galaxy, Bouy Base Galaxy, Super Mario Bros. 1991, Rosalina in the Observatory, and the remix of Koopa Road from Super Mario 64. That's not saying Galaxy 2's music is bad, though.
Micah Cheng oh i did my research, and cloudy court is actually very very similar to gusty garden if you listen to both. they probably would have done it if they didnt do gusty garden in galaxy 1 performance
Amazing performance by very talented hard-working musicians... however the opening tympani in the Melty Monster Galaxy movement is way off... bugged me so much!
There were a few ear cringing moments in their, I won't lie. Trumpets, especially in the higher register, were out of tune, cracked, or didn't match the style they had in the lower register. I also feel like Tubas could play out WAAAAAAY more. Overall, I think you did the soundtrack good, my only wish is that you played Cloudy Court Galaxy as well ;)
Sheet music, please! I must learn how to play all parts on my trumpet to kill boredom while my siblings take the computer so I can't make any videos rip wow Weegee no one cares about your personal problems. #verylongsentences
1:20 No way they omitted the best part! I still respect this performance, but if I was a jerk, I would actually have given it a dislike. Such a disappointment!
Well the original Sky Station theme does really end there. I think you mean the Gusty Garden part (which I love btw). Sadly that was only in a trailer and on the 25th anniversary CD otherwise it's not part of the song.
