I failed a couple of times doing the maple treeway glitch, and for some of my attempts, my game wasn’t showing the glider part that shows the symbol. It was just showing lines.

Also, there are 3 other glitches that I found: 1. Go to rainbow road (3 part one) and get to the spinning tube. Now you can just speed around, and up the walls, and you can fall off the walls, and spin around. 2. Go to Rainbow road (again) and go to the moon, right before the 3rd lap count. Drive over the lap count, then quickly drive back onto the moon’s surface. The wrong music will play, and instead of the quiet music, the normal music will play 3. Go to Wario Shipyard and get to the glider ramp. Angle yourself so that you generally are facing to the right corner of the glider panel. Then just fly off, use a mushroom going straight up, and you’ll fly over the wall, out of bounds, and die. 👍

I did #1 and something cool happened. I did it and I went in circles 3 times. Then I turned right and I kept spinning out. (I spun out 7 times in a row.) Isnt that cool?

Tried the Maple Treeway glitch a lot. Haven't got it yet, but have managed to land on top of the house and go out of bounds, and occasionally randomly spin out like I've hit a banana.

We Westerners were quite fortunate to have a creative title for Super Circuit. Its Japanese title is simply "Mario Kart Advance". At least Double Dash!! wasn't "Mario Kart GC".

I found a new glitch in Mario kart 7 in neo Bowser city if you go backwards at the beginning in time trials use a mushroom at that jump and u will go over the wall but it won't count as a lap

With the Glider glitch. It exists with all ramps in the game as all (not just glider) ramps have a window to do tricks in. In some glider ramps, you can produce the glider but because of the natural wind of the track itll last for only 1 second.

Another glitch in Coconut Mall require you to ride along the escalator handrails and boost to the fountain and boost again to the right time when you hop from the fountain. You reach the top and glitch there to the escalator. Saves about 2 seconds tho.

in mario kart 8 deluxe, if you choose a baby character and the p-wing kart, with 200cc, on music park if your going dast enough you can fly over the map where the big music note things are. but if you have smart-steering on, you have to go around the notes even in the air.

For Wuhu Loop, you could jump off the second boost pad, and I got a time of 56 seconds on Maka Wuhu

You weren't wrong about failing in spectacular ways in maple treeway! When I tried it, one time I did it, but Instead I jumped the fence and wound up getting stuck in the fence until I hit the glide panel.

There is one glitch in Mario Kart 7 that i've experienced myself, and that is if you go out of bounds while in first place and while a blue shell in on your way, the blue shell, who is past the player in first place, will now have to take another lap, beacause it's hard to perform, i only experience it once, and the time that i suscessfully perform this glitch is when i was in a race at Airship Fortress, i was on the second lap, in first place, near the finish line, when suddenly, a blue shell showed up and i have no item to prevent it (Super Horn, Super Star, Bullet Bill.), i decided to fall of the track and go out of bounds, then, the blue shell go past me, who is still recovering, unknown to me, this was a smart move as the blue shell will now actualy hit players (or in my case, AIs) who are far back behind (if they are at the center of course), and then eventualy, it goes back to the player/AI who throwed the blue shell, as for me, i will go on to win the race.

The flags in the menu changing icons are likely because the game is recycling the views - it's a common memory saving technique. Say you can only see 4 slots in the list - the game allocates maybe 6 or 7 (in case you are partially scrolled and one or two offscreen)and as you scroll it just changed what is shown rather than making tons of slots. It looks like their code is not fully baked for that part of the UI :)

It's been like 5 years since I played Mario Kart 7. And I STILL have the time trial record on Maka Wuhu with 1:15.433! The next closest is at 1:31.392! (this is with the two boost 'glitches' at 6:09 (I say glitches because these boost spots don't work in online play so they were probably put in on purpose by nintendo))

On maple freeway where the first leaf piles are just keep driving on the walls into the piles and you'll spin out even in time trials

On bowser castle 1 if you get past the small boosters turn around and jump at the small booster you can get back to the other platform and this works with any charter but it's easer with a fast cart

2 glitches for rosilina's ice world (???) 1 is boosting off the 1 spot near the start of the pit. itll be weird gravity when u land on the halfpipe if you boost off the cave exit by the water and go near the ramp and the halfpipe you get crazy high air.
