@@creativemoon9960 it's a common thought. Just because you saw it before, doesn't mean they copied that exact message that you saw. And even if they did, the message that you saw was also probably copied from someone else.
The YOU CAN’T ESCAPE is a bit much imo. Creepy, but ruins the feeling of authenticity. This doesn’t feel like an anti piracy measure, it just feels like some really well edited creepypasta content. Ideally, it should feel like both.
Really overproduced. I know it's supposed to be a creepypasta but the magic of the Mario Party DS one was how simple and subtle it was unlike this which is basically Wario Apparition 2

@@lacedupangel I meant that I'm not sure what's the point of this guy's comment, saying "it's not like they would add this".. as if the other anti-piracy things are something they WOULD add. Like yeah, the Mario Party DS one is more believable (the first one I mean) but it's done in a way that Nintendo or its partners wouldn't do. So I think you've misunderstood my comment, but it's okay
Has anyone else watched Nathaniel Bandy's Tier list of Anti- Piracy screens and found that this one was in one of them in the video. It was super interesting stuff.
Y'know, if you were to put this in a real context, it would make sense. I mean, heck, if i were a kid, i would get scared enough to never pirate any game ever again. Great video, it's detailed and well done! I love Mario's body expressions.
I think the end screen should have had that four-note sound effect that plays when you eject the game card during gameplay. But this is frightening enough

This is quite interesting, it's very much believed that the one who develops this screen was the same one who made the anti-piracy in mario party ds as well, and I can clearly see why they think that. This is the first thing that was patched in the cracked version. The check runs on picking a stage, and if the check fails it brings you to the figure-8 circuit no matter what stage you picked. No one knows where that creepy stage came from, people have not found it in the game files yet and it's a mystery what version of the game it is in. Some believe it's in the beta version and that Nintendo told the one who made it to tone it down, which angered them and made them make mario party's anti-piracy screens as well before quitting the game dev seen all together.
The illusion was good at the start, but it faded once that "It is a serious crime to pirate video games." Pop-Up appeared. It looks like's being dragged frame by frame. Plus, it doesn't fit the usual Mario Kart DS GUI. The pixelation at the end was also pretty bad too.
This looks like it would be a "lost video game" creepypasta story. This is no pirate prevention. This is the project of a psychopathic Nintendo associate. 😂
Although nothing Nintendo would probably do, I can imaging this scaring a few young kids playing this into not pirating games. Well made and pretty good. 8.5/10
My favorite part of Mario Kart DS was when King Dedede tried to vore Mario while he was driving home from the hospital after his spine recovered, only for it to break again, and charge King Dedede for the new hospital bill.

honestly? if Nintendo would actually do something like this, it would simply disable the ability to drive for the player, making you stop for every time you play
