Cinnamon Butterfly Listen, just go on VS., set the rules to 32 races/mirror and hard mode/random and PRACTICE! It only took two days for me to get a star in all mirror mode cups.
I can tell most of you guys are 10 year olds who think they're great and spend a lot of time trying to do simple shortcuts and getting cross when you're unable to do them on 100cc online and realise you wasted your time.
Part of what made unlocking these characters/karts so fun is how hard they were. Now in MK8 all you have to do is play a few cups and collect coins and you'll have everything. Not nearly as fun and motivating to play
nyr142 I know, right? I had to go through hell and back to get through Grand Prix in order to unlock the majority of the unlockables this lovely game offers. Now if only I had a friend who's boss enough to unlock the remaining fast staff ghosts... Update: After deleting my old data and unlocking everything again in eight hours, unlocking all 32 fast staff ghosts was quite the easy task with King Boo w/Flame Runner and Dry Bones w/Magikruiser.
may I tell you a story? One tine I used dry bones and the magikruiser, and I used then on time trails to unlock mii outfit B. and then a miracle happened! I never got to get mii outfit B with anyone else, and I got mii outfit B with dry bones, HES MAH NEW BESTIE

Bowser I remember helping my brother with time trials on his licence, which we traded for him helping me with the Grand Prix mode on my licence. My brothers tried so hard. I’m the eldest... I’m so glad I can do it myself (with a little of the expected rage, of course) but those were the days.... before my Wii started blackscreening. :(
Airian NFL To unlock Funky Kong, you need to unlock four Fast/Expert Staff Ghosts in Time Trials. To do that beat the Normal Staff Ghosts by about 7 seconds (it may be more or less but it's usually 7). I hope this helped.

Greninja He is the fastest character in the game. Him on the spear is the fastest combo in the game, but since the spear has no drift, most people use him with the flame runner. I personally enjoy his cheers when you hit someone with an item lol
I'm mad because when I was a kid I was too poor to get galaxy to unlock Rosalina so I spent the next 6 years trying to get her the right way. When I got her I slammed my fist into the wall and broke my finger. Just remembering this hurts me

bruh this brings me back to the time as a kid trying to get the mii outfit B because I unlocked everything else and that FUCKING SNES ghost valley 2 time trial race where you had to beat a ghost in under 58 seconds bruh I almost broke my controller by that until i finally beat the ghost I almost cried my ass off 😂 and I felt so accomplished after getting everything in the game and I still have the same disk and the same save file ;) good times

I once unlocked all characters and vehicles in the game and won gold on every cup, when a glitch happened that I couldn't get the Mii Outfit B, so I had to create a new license and do all that hard work again
When I was a kid I had to unlock Rosalina the hard way (Getting at least one star on the entire mirror mode grand prix), and that was frustrating as hell back then. But when I finally got her, I screamed with joy! And after I got Mario Galaxy, it became easier for me to unlock her any time I was on a new license. :)
For how unnecessarily difficult it was to unlock Rosalina without Galaxy save data, I would've expected a reward like the Parade Kart from Double Dash.
I always found it funny how Daisy is technically one of the harder characters to unlock lol (and you might even unlock Baby Daisy before unlocking Daisy)

Unlocking 32 staff ghost AND getting Rosalina the Mirror mode way was brutal... never again. Getting the 32 staffs were easy after you get good but before your good you feel so useless compared to them.
After unlocked the 4th staff ghost in Time Trials, you finally unlocks Funky Kong (Kong). After unlocked the 8th staff ghost in Time Trials, you finally unlocks Baby Luigi (Human). After unlocked the 32nd and final staff ghost in Time Trials, you finally unlocks Mii Outfit B (Human).
