I don't know why this is happening ...one has rolled told the truth and the others are just as guilty. But instead we watch the lawyers grandstanding..for me very briefly watch.
I'm coming from Johnny Depp trial where the abüser Amber Heard took notes (🤣) too. of what? They take note.. of what? I'm never ceased to be amazed how investigators solved this case. That's why I'm defending police.. and respect.. true amazing police investigators. Not an easy job.
Great question Juul Clark! I believe their were obviously some issues within the family including but not limited to emotional, physical, verbal abuse and substance abuse.
Perhaps Mark had some 'dirt' on Wayne? Maybe having to do with Wayne's missing friend ? Wayne was evidently the last one to see him before he disappeared.
It's all about the money..and they thought they will get away with lie and never get involved police and stuff..how stupid they are make my blood boil😭😭
I would pay money in cases like this to see what the hell their acting so important and writing...can't even look at his friend....selfish narcissist...it was all about him...and I hope mr.waynes benies..that I pay for were cut off when he was arrested....can't work..gets disability pay but has no problem swinging a hammer..and taking a life..and I also seen story that this Wayne dude killed another guy and was never charged..im guessing he confided this to his bestie so POS mr.sievers ..thought mr.wayne wouldn't mind another notch in his belt...dumb dumber and dumbest..these 3 clowns
Utube Curtis Wayne wright and the case of the missing man...this is why Mr. Seivers thought he hired the right guy..he killed and got away w it before...they need to reopen other case and charge this phyco..give the other family closure.. heart heart
I have never seen such a happy judge. The man can’t stop smiling and he has such a kind eyes also. I wonder if he continues to smile while he’s handing down the death Sentence to someone. LOL 😂
What's even more interesting is that, when you first start to watch the trial, without noticing the judge's face, he seems very abrupt and stern when talking to lawyers and stating his "overruled and move along" and then you see his smiling face. Left me really surprised. I love the way he is direct and to the point.
I still can't wrap my mind around a friend saying he wants his wife killed & you not running away screaming. I'll never understand this. How is this part of anyone's reality? I'm such a sheltered guppy, I guess. The world of sharks is so foreign to me.
He may actually have that voice. They all know he's a killer, why would he care how he "comes off?" I think this guy is the most honest one of the bunch...
Connie P. : Yes. HE said he’s disabled. Nobody else did. Don’t fall for that guff, he’s a career criminal accustomed to finding ways to live for free off the rest off society. Don’t forget, he’s just confessed to hammering the skull of a friend for promised money.
@@rayray8687 If "living free off the rest of society" means living in prison for twenty-five years, he's got a low bar of living...Oh, the good life! 😀
It's really amazing how this man can calmly sit there even smiling and recount situations the conversations leading up to the brutal slaying I love this beautiful woman!! And this guy with the soft voice seems like the nicest guy in the world!! We can never fully trust another human being that we hardly know!! Mr. Severs new this man and I obviously knew what he was capable of, but if you would just meet him as your plumber or a man in a coffee shop etc.. you would never imagine that he could be a cold-blooded killer! This is scary! People must be extremely careful and never judge a book by its cover!
The fact that Mark is looking downward at his defense table and keeps writing tells me he's 100% guilty. His guilt is holding him back from sitting up and facing his accuser. He is so guilty. Wow.
A smart attorney tells their client to do this during a trial. Mainly so his body language and behavior are suppressed during certain events. Example (3:52)
This judge loves his job. I like how he greets his staff when he enters, right down to the court reporter. The type of guy who probably says "Good morning!" to the janitor every day. 😀
Mark Sievers can't hold his head up because guilty is written all over his face. Drinking more water than a camel. Nervousness and guilty at the same time.
Y’all still don’t get it huh? He’s neither nervous or feels guilty. There’s NOTHING. Blank, void, zero zilch! The psychopath DOES NOT CARE, PeriodT. Stop reading into him emotions you think a normal person would display, there’s non.
Shii Wak First one who talks gets the best deal. 25 years for cold blooded murder when you are the one who admits to swinging the hammer isn’t a bad deal. These freaks deserve each other and she should have known her husband was trash. You can take the boy out of the trailer but you can’t take the trailer out of the boy.
I believe Curtis honestly. At this point what does he have to loose by talking? He already got caught, he had no reason to murder Teresa. Mark hired him to do it.
Imagine being the wife of Wright and finding out your husband planned a woman’s murder on your wedding day then drove down to her funeral with you as if he had nothing to do with it. I imagine he is divorced now..
@@nicholeisscoliosisstrong9729 Evidently his wife has stood by him. Her Mother, his Mother-in-law pleaded with her daughter to annul the marriage but back then she wouldn't. Don't know about now. Rumour also has it that the wife left her children behind (by another relationship) to be with this????? Unimaginable right?
Do defense attorneys encourage their clients to write , write , write during trials? It looks so foolish and desperate . ETA: I just noticed the way he chatted with his lawyer , smirk on his face & a nod . I think he’s trying to blend in with his defense team . Give the impression he’s of a higher caliber than the guy in prison garb and shackles.
Just Another Smith: Yes they do. Hack lawyers who have no ability (or maybe no funds) to defend will often tell their clients “not to appear too interested” in the proceedings and “don’t worry, we’ll muddy the waters”. Its taught in law school by other hack lawyers and presumes at least one juror is a stupid idiot (that’s all they need). It never works.
Ray Ray I do know that Mark fought in court for this lawyer when state opposed him not having a death penalty case qualified attorney. He waived the right to appeal ineffective counsel so Judge Bruce Kyle allowed it.
Exactly. Following through with the plan and killing Theresa shows exactly how much respect he had for his wife and women in general. Married for a month and now in prison for the better part of his life. The psychology of these type of people (animals) fascinates me..
@@bokani79 I don't think he was intimidated by Mark at all. He's a 5 time felon and Mark has no criminal history. It does seem like Mark was prodding him about it and wanting it done as soon as possible. I think he agreed half cocked needing money, wanting to help Mark and thinking driving from Missouri to Florida was a genius plan that the police would never put together. And for the OP comment, he wouldn't go to the police if he didn't want to do it, he would just tell Mark no how is that hard to understand lol? He's a felon/lifelong criminal who has been accused of murdering another person before over a small unpaid debt, he doesn't strike me as an upstanding citizen that would snitch on his buddy just because he knew about it.

I would love to see what these convicted murderers are actually scribbling... “This sucks! I’m gonna just draw a picture of the reaper chasing me.” 🔪☠️
Nervous mark keeps writing " my life's over " 10,000 times, but he's trying to look like he's taking down professional notes. Mark yes your life is over. This witness was an ace for the prosecution.
Testifying with a nonchalant, smirky attitude as if he was involved in an accident between him and a neighborhood dog. This creep is one of the most frightening of society. How many minutes did it take to convince him to beat a woman, who never did anything to harm him, with a hammer? His gene pool must be totally sick.
Carolyn Twiss you’re right, yet the gene pool continues, but good genuine people are incapable of reproducing so much of the time. I just don’t understand
Do you know Dalia Dippolito case? hired a hitman to kill her husband. And.. she thought she had succeeded. Only that the hitman she paid was in fact an undercover cop.. Evil woman..
I know I’m late to this case, but it’s so hard to believe this soft spoken man who is getting married , borrowed tables and chairs from his church beat a woman to death with a hammer just because his friend asked him to. Just WOW! Unbelievable
I didn’t even know the case. This video randomly came up on RU-vid and I’m in such shock! It took me a minute to realize the guy w his head down writing excessively was the husband. Omg what a coward! I can’t imagine he’s pleading “not guilty”?! Oh I’m fully invested now!!!
I will die in jail, I will die in jail, I will die in jail, 100 times. Even a big guy like that is nothing compared to bigger guys in there, his new name is MARY!! They will pass him around for cigarettes.
@@Anju11S having a private business does not discriminate based on criminal records. He could have opened a small consulting company to continue doing work. It’s a lucrative bossiness. Companies can’t operate without good computer and software systems. He would have done well but his character was for the streets
Truly amazing. Sievers couldn’t even look at the guy he used to murder his wife. Such a smug an arrogant individual...🤦🏾♀️. Wright could’ve been a decent programmer had he not veered down the treacherous path.
I don't understand the smiles and levity (from witness, prosecutor and JUDGE). An innocent woman was attacked in a violent way with a HAMMER. That is horrendous.

Give them the benefit of the doubt, you may not know why they smile. Perhaps they believe that this is the repayment of their duty unto themselves.
At the beginning Curtis says that Mark became difficult to deal with for awhile early in their relationship, so they drifted apart, then the defense objected and the judge sustained the objection. I want to know how Mark became difficult.
In Curtis’s interrogation he says something about mark being really mouthy and wild and that Teresa really calmed him down. After he got married they grew closer.
He gets that deal because even though he was the man who killed Teresa it was instigated by her husband Mark. Without Wrights testimony Mark wouldn’t get convicted and he absolutely deserves to be behind bars for the rest of his life. Deals like this are awful but I understand sometimes they need to make them to hold everyone accountable. He pled guilty and admitted to what had happened. Unlike Rogers and Sievers who both pled not guilty.
Not bad. Only an hour and 20 minutes so far to say "We've been friends since high school, he asked me to kill his wife, and I got another friend to help me."
Oh my gosh !!! The guy kills the doctor then goes to the funeral to help family !!what a demon !.how cold how could he look at her knowing he killed her !!!!
I find it totally inappropriate. He's the judge on a murder trial. I doubt the dead woman's family appreciated all his smiling and chatty banter. This is a murder trial, not a day at the beach or traffic court.
@@Val-uy2me good thing they weren't present for these times then. It'd be more inappropriate for him to go with his emotion as he's IMPARTIAL because it IS a trial. I encourage you to watch again and take note as to context and times in which it happens.
INCREDIBLE !!! Sievers comes to the wedding when Wayne would be happily celebrating his marriage and the day before what aughta' be one of the best days of his life Sievers brings-up the killing of his wife. "Geez...thanks for coming Mark." Selfish or what ??? Sievers is looking more like a piece of toast with every passing minute.
roberto armstrong When you hear about murders it may take months or years but down the line they usually catch the person. The only person I heard they never caught were the people that killed jimmy Hoffa
Barbara Shepherd no no very much agreed, I was being silly. Throwing evidence on the side of the road, leaving data trails everywhere.. 3 too many people involved.. also being given a combination? How did they ever think they’d get away with this?
Agree! He's making my blood boil with his smiling and baby voice & his sore shoulder! He's a con man, it didn't hurt his shoulder too much when he was swinging a hammer on the Dr's head! He's a lazy evil vile man and a grass.. The inmates will love him!
Curtis Wayne could have easily found a very good job with his experience in computers..but he took the easy way to get money and now paying for it. How foolish can people be
He got obsessed with the idea that he was disabled, and it made him feel entitled to freebies or money he didn’t work hard for. Most computer work does not require a lot of physical activity plus if he needed to lift anything he could always have 2 guys with him to do that. He claims to be disabled yet hw lifted a harmer and chased a woman around the house until her death.
He was also indicated in another man's murder years before the detective asks him about it at the very end of his police interrogation. Hes done alot before this..
He had no remorse and no feelings telling about how he killed Teresa. Why did you do it? I was asked to do it. No, you wanted to do it for the money and because you enjoy it. Pure evil right there. He should never get off with 25 yrs.HE DID THIS!!
I will never, ever understand how a person can do the evil things that was perpetrated upon Dr Teresa Seivers. This is WRONG! She did not deserve what happened to her. 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
VolodyA! V Anarhist First of all you spelled Anarchist wrong meathead. Secondly why are you so disrespectful of other people’s beliefs? Seems your type always has a hard on for Christians and ignore the others but that’s for another day. Tolerance is for everyone. You aren’t persecuted for your ignorance so religious people should not be attacked for their beliefs right or wrong.
@@jimwilliamsnc I've written my name correctly, you dumbass. And i am disrespectful only to people who are trying to push their genocidal beliefs on others.
I am unsure if you are being funny or honestly asking. If it is latter, then most likely he is recording what is being said. I have heard of times where court records are incorrect, and that can be a reason for appeal. Also sometimes it is best to write stuff down as soon as possible, because memories can change with time.
He spent time with Teresa’s children, saw them grow up, had his children spend time with them and he murdered their Mum for money that he never got, and laughed and chatted normally during his police interview 😮 This guy is cold and cruel, thank goodness he was caught!
So, his friend that is testifying against him here was disabled so Mark wrote opiod prescriptions off his wifes prescriptions and gave them to his friend here. I know that wasn't said here but, that is what he meant when he said he got medical help from Dr. Theresa through her husband Mark. Read between the lines.
Now let me get this straight... You're on the cusp of what should be one of the happiest days of your life. and one of your "best" friends is like, "Dude, I need you to help me murder my wife." With friends like that, who needs enemies?
That’s just to confuse the jury so they don’t know who the real murderer is, lol. I think it’s possible they’ll convict the lawyer (considering his “lawyer” skills).
@@rayray8687 Lol I definitely believe it was planned out so that he blends in. Maybe people will associate him with an attorney. That sort of thing. There's a flip side to that, however. They can put that lawyer down as a murderer. He may not be guilty of murder, but the way he's defending his client he's definitely guilty of something!🤣🤣
Luke Smaluk, Ineffective council would be the lawyer’s “crime”, but the defendant apparently waived his right to that appeal when he insisted on having his doppelgänger as his attorney. It’s reported both the Prosecutor and the Judge considered this attorney to be incapable of properly defending a capital murder case. So far, in my opinion, they were right.
Appalling!!! Disabled?? Able to kill and even offered his assistance to her family!! Appalling!! When he said that he prayed about what to do when speaking to the police; this guy IS Certifiable!!
*Heidi* right?! If I were him and was truly innocent listening to the guy who murdered my spouse, the guy on the stand would combust in the chair from the fire that would be in my stare at him!
He is acting up a storm putting on a show of humility, acting like he had no choice but to help, He's such a monster...threw the first blow, omfg....Up close and personal, and Theresa no doubt made him coffee at one time in that kitchen....They all should have gotten the death penalty.
If the courts give this man only 25 years for bludgeoning a woman to death with a hammer, then everyone in that courtroom should be given the death penalty. This man willfully and maliciously bludgeoned an innocent woman to death with a fkn hammer. He should be sent to Mexico and let the cartel filet him
Mark is keeping such diligent “notes” IMO for two reasons. One: he obviously is desperate to come off as one of the attorneys as opposed to the person who is actually charged with this crime. It’s as if he’s working, just like the attorney to his right. Blending in. He even goes up during a side bar which in all the trials I’ve ever seen to my memory I’ve never seen a defendant go up with them like he did. Reason two: he’s conveying to Curtis that as far as Mark is concerned Curtis doesn’t exits. His lack of eye contact isn’t surprising because of the current situation but he isn’t giving any attention to the testimony or the fact that Curtis is even there. He’s dead to him and he’s making that very clear. Horrible way to portray yourself to a jury. This is the man who’s accusing you of helping orchestrate the murder of your wife, at the very least the man who participated in the murder of the mother of your children. The appearance that you could care less is exactly how it looks - cold blooded.
That was his attorney, I thought that too until I seen him on a separate video. I literally did a double and triple take but it’s for sure his attorney/friend who he’s known for 4 years when he hired him to help with child custody after his arrest.
mia mia which time?? This guy is a pitiful douchebag. Drawing disability but can bludgeon someone to death with a hammer. What’s wrong with our disability system again?
Imagine the extreme stupidity & arrogance required to think he’d get away with it. His wife was leaving him, & the state of the marriage was certainly known among her friends, the children & the counselor they had supposedly seen. I don’t know if he had any income separate from hers, but if he did it’s doubtful it could continue to “keep him” in the life to which he had become accustomed with her income. Her life was heavily insured with him (presumably) as beneficiary. Anyone who watches tv crime programs would know they always look at spouses first. Even the greenest detective could have figured this out day 1. Stupidity, arrogance, self-interest & a complete lack of conscience brought this about. That poor woman.
The constant writing in the notepad is a tactic...they are told by their attorneys to jot down any questions or comments during testimony in the event they catch something the attorneys don’t or if there’s a question they want their attorneys to ask. Also it keeps them looking busy versus doing nothing and possibly coming across as lazy or having some other character flaw the jury might pick up on. Writing and staying “attentive” may make them appear more sympathetic as well. Jurors watch them intensely during trial, their reactions, their mannerisms. It can look like overkill (no pun intended!) & yes sometimes they doodle, but there’s a reason for the madness.
Another good example of this is the trial of Ashley McArthur. She’s an example of how a defendant through their demeanor and mannerisms, even though she does write constantly during her trial, can come across very poorly to a jury.
It's so weird looking at Wayne, (and guys like him). He looks and sounds so benign and not like a killer and sneaky, deceptive person he is, yet, being the same room with him or anyplace where he isn't hand cuffed would be terrifying.
