I think this trial was specifically about the murder of the police officer. They gave him life for the murder of his ex-girlfriend and unborn child.

That trial and sentencing happened already. This was about Lt. Clayton.

I always wondered why they wasted money on TWO trials for this man!!! 🤔 He would have still been found guilty and sentenced to death for ALL the murders at once!🤷🏽‍♀️
