I feel like mirror matt joined under the premise that he would just be the tech guy, since Stephanie did the bantering. Then the dynamic between Matpat and mirror matt was something special so it became this official "witty banter" And now Ash is joining specifically to enhance the banter; joining under the premise that she's the new personality in this dynamic. The pressure would be quite high for her. I would be hella nervous. Curious to see how things are when settled. Regardless I hope nobody stresses themselves out trying to make this work, I like the witty banter for how natural it is.

I actually find Matpat's voice oddly soothing to the point where sometimes I play one of these videos when I want to take a nap. Do not recommend trying this with Cooking Companions though
I listen to his vids when i've run out of my normal content (which hasn't been often now that hermitcraft season 9 is going) as background for when i'm playing minecraft. Cuz when u got to good parts, u can go to a good afk spot n watch the stuff that interests u most.
My favourite part about this stuff is how people assume that these “people” are “humans” behind the camera. The only fully sentient organism involved in these productions is Matt-patt, I always assumed they were treelike beings, no legs, rooted in place, with crude limbs and faces to produce all the sounds a human could. I’m pretty sure Matt engineered them himself, grew them, so that they would obey him. They have no greater will, only able to follow his specific instructions. He keeps them in large pots, and brings them out for recording.

Ash's voice sounds lovely! I can absolutely see MatPat recording himself doing different voices and putting them in as "MirrorMatt", "Ash" and a couple of other disembodied voices he can talk to off-camera XD
This is getting to the point where eventually there's a whole army of voices and the entire videos will just be banter about a subject I don't understand in the slightest. And that's wonderful
leading up to Security Breach (2019 onwards) Mat started annoying Stephanie with FNAF lore, so she grabbed Ollie, Amy, Jason, Chris and Skip and left him, forcing him to invent a new friend (MirrorPat-which he used to keep him company when Steph left during those 2020 streams) which has spawned a new friend (Ashley), therefore helping Mat fill the perpetual void left behind by the former cast of GTLive. He slams his head against the wall like the puppets from My Friendly Neighborhood and screams "loooooooooore."

Ideas for the Megamind theory: 1) The whole movie after Metroman's death is all in Megamind's head to cope with the loss of Metroman and to justify why he needs to become a good guy. 2) The main reason Metroman became Music Man was to earn back the money he used to pay off forensic scientists so they don't investigate his death. The second an autopsy would have be done on his bones, they would've realized it was a fake.
I would also like a joke theory about Metroman just being music man like the sans is ness one but I feel like there isn't enough to even make a joke theory which feels a little sad

So like, for Megamind. The question could be “If your brain was 4 times the size, could you become super smart?” and like, you could analyze how long it’d take the neurons to make your thoughts? Or like if a human’s brain was super sized, would it be smarter?
I think we actually have an answer to this. IIRC one of our precursor/cousin species, cabt remember which one exactly, had a larger brain case, but the turning point for our intelligence was actually that case shrinking to a smaller size.

I know the bracelet thing was a joke, but I've been known to wear nerdy jewelry, especially when I have to dress professionally and can't wear more conventional merch. Come to think of it, a Theory class ring could be pretty cool, too... as long as it comes in a variety of sizes (specifically up to size 10: I don't have dainty fingers).

Ash's voice makes her sound so precious. When I hear Matt's voice I expect something funny to literally come out of left field. As for MatPat's voice I expect a long long speech that has me wondering if I'll hear the answer to my questions, that or he makes me laugh and I feel better for around an hour.
Matpat I really liked that you recorded all of this without anyone else in the video, you have amazing acting and writing skills when you then dubbed over this video not once but twice to voice “Ash” and “mirrormat”.

For Megamind, maybe a deep dive into the problems Metro man suffered growing up? The Hero syndrome forced upon him due to his powers and the ego it developed that eventually drove him to his depression and desire to pursue a career he wanted not want he felt like the world wanted from him. I think there's some psychology there and stuff that could be worked on, although he was a jerk from birth given how their pods kept hitting one another... Just my idea for how that could work, I adore that movie and think it's super underrated, so a theory about it would be great!
37:17 My case for MatPat is that he has the power of cartoon logic, essentially. With all the editing stuff, he can go just about anywhere and grab about anything from any game, movie, or tv show, so I think I'd choose MatPat as the defender.
