I hadn't been paying attention to the public opinion, so when they were surrounded, I was sure this was it. I didn't pick sing to try n save them, I picked sing as their final act. As far as I was concerned, I was watching their final act before death. I was overjoyed when they survived. (though after getting the best ending first time, it means if I play again, I can only aim for worse endings. Plus I don't have Chloe to greet me in the main menu)
Pecko☆ Reminds me of the meme where the guy said on Twitter he owns a gun so that if someone breaks into his house he can shoot himself instead of having to deal with human interaction.
When he said it's not about race, he meant it. Markus if you went down a good path says something along the lines of "Humans have been fighting for 100s of years about their skin colors. They will never see us the same." The game is about humanity, and no matter how much we try we can't achieve world peace because there will always be something to hate about another person.
but what if they kept singing huh and that would be a secret ending, the military would have died of old age by the time they finished so they can win freedom.
Announcer: ALLLRIGHT! Next up is... Markus! W-wait, markus? OH N- *THOUSANDS OF DEVIANTS BOARD THE STAGE, THE WORLD IS DEAFENED BY HOLD ON JUST A LITTLE WHILE LONGER*
First ending is a future extreme version of 'America's Got Talent' where if the judges don't like you, you get shot. If they like you, you get to live... for now.
There is a Black Mirror episode like that, except if you lose you go back to a slave existence, and if you win, you are put into a slightly better slave existence.
"Fire!" "WAIT! They're singing! We have to wait and see what the final public opinion total is." * Singy Singy * Public Opinion /\ "Look they're 1 point short of the good ending! Death flag set, OPEN FIRE!"
Lol i had the first ending because i went all violent and at the end for some reason decided to sing. I laughed my ass off. I have no idea what i was expecting.
MIles Edgeworth first of all,, im dumb as shit in general and im aware of that. So no need to call me out like that. Ok but really, i did do some "peaceful" options here and there. Like sparing some lives when you have the choice to either shoot or spare. And, i chose demonstration. But i did fuck up a lot of shit in capitol park lol. I didnt necessarily think my death would be right after singing or whatever you choose to do. And i wanted something besides using the dirty bomb. But ya, im not the smartest person obviously.
@@marcellabutay1090 the thing is, he could have just chosen to not obey... like he did in the second ending. Same scenario where Cyberlife wants to force him to something... but he didn't need to shoot him self in the second case, despite technically being still a danger to the other deviants, if Cyberlife could just take over him again...
From Diplomatic side, singing is perfect option. First, singing is a cool thing thats connect people, second singing is human thing, when "robots" do this (sing somenthing created not just played like form CD) they show humanity that they can do art, something that is related to humans. Good job Marcus.
Edin743 They are also programmed with thousands of children's stories, but they do not play them like audiobooks. Also, funnily enough, Markus IS using someone else's voice in this scene. Luther's voice actor is the one singing here. It is completely possible that they are using recordings of human voices to pull this off.
Smackyurface23 Well, in game. Of course. They did know the song thought. Just imagine that you as a 5 year old get implanted all the information you need to know by some cybernetic implant
It's funnier if you choose the Kiss North option. Basically the humans are ready to exterminate the androids completely when suddenly they see them kissing. It's like the president went "Wait a fucking minute, we can SHIP these things together. STOP THE FIRING SQUAD"
bobsickle Haha yes, true, but at the same time, to me, they showed more emotions in that scene. But I giggled like a little bitch when I got that ending because that was what I was thinking 🤷🏼♀️
It's pretty much, at the last moment before they know they are going to die. They show that they have emotions. If you murdered a shit ton of humans, they won't care. But if you peacefully went about with your protest, they'll finally realize that androids have emotions and are real like humans. It's a great scene imo.
It's still a scene that doesn't make sense though. They never cared whether or not they had proper emotions before. Why would they suddenly care now? It's a nonsense motive flip that makes no sense. More realistic: "Oh, these things really ARE humans after all! Okay, shoot them just like all the actual humans we shoot all the time."
Dude, if I was one of those SWAT/military dudes, I would clap for their singing, it sounds so good! Edit: EXPLAIN HOW THIS HAS *OVER 1.5 THOUSAND* LIKES?! THANKS!!! Also, I'm well aware what they gotta do to serve the country, I was just making a little joke...
Alright, obviously nobody here really knows that the military system is built on obedience and honor. If I was told to fire, I would. Even if they sang.
Most amazing thing I just realized I saw the game on RU-vid and saw this ending too I played the game myself and realized when Markus first finds Jerico, Lucy is humming ‘hold on’ when you’re going trough the first scene on the boat and I made me stop for a sec and realize that was THE song that made me cry like a baby. Such a good reference to the end of the game and I can’t wait to see what more they have in store for me
Connor’s suicide hurts so bad because he had feelings. It wasn’t an escape because he failed a mission, it was him doing what was best for “his people” which is heart breaking. He felt all those emotions when he pulled the trigger ahhhhh
