'I hate that the FGC is no longer poverty' Goofy ass comment my guy. The only difference between the FGC then and now is players can no longer say fucked up shit without consequences. It's the same exact scene. Marvel was just a hype game and no other fighting game out emulates it currently.
That Happy bday drop by Marlin's Doom right at the end looks like "Collusion" at first but then you realize that Marlin tried to do fingerlaser super but he didn't had meter so he got a back dash instead, that bionic arm comeback was legit.
@@fastest1321 yeah, I said that just to make a funny reference because "Collusion" became a meme in the FGC during those times when it was found that some player actually colluded for grand finals in other tournaments, so every time somebody dropped a combo in a match people in the chat would spam COLLUSION... but I was just pointing out that at first that drop appears to be on purpose just to give Combo the chance to comeback and create a hype moment given that it was a match to "celebrate combofiend" but after noticing why he got that back dash is clear that it was an accident
1:35-1:47. If a Doom player does that sort of combination on me I would not be frustrated not one bit but I'd smile and feel honored to be playing against someone that styled and skilled.
I love looking through the crowd background and seeing all the people hanging out. It brings me crazy nostalgia to see Floe/Justin, Seth Killian, Infiltration, PR Rog, the coach teams (Viscant, Dieminion, FChamp, Neo, etc) and all the other pros that were doing rounds back during this time just having a great time watching the match. I'm not really into fighting games much anymore, so I'm not sure what they are all up to, but I loved this era of Marvel as a spectator. It was amazing.
In the end, are we not all correct? I don't know. It's 5 in the morning, and I am compelled to reply like the drunk bastard I am acting like out of sleep deprivation.
I just love how Chen keep going "flames of the-impact! flames of the-impact!" when it's bleeding obvious he goes "IN-FLAMES-IN-FLAMES-IN-FLAMES!". Also shoutouts to washed up Scandinavian melodeath.
