Whenever I've had a bad day I come to this video and smile at the tech at 20:02 . Everyone looks around mind fucked, except Peter, who is just like "Yeessss". Also it's nice to see Combofiend playing... rare footage nowadays.
For the first time in years I didn`t buy myself a xmas-present, but this FT10 set is the best gift I could`ve gotten. Going to make watching this a tradition I think. Simply unbelievably entertaining!
The camaraderie between the top UMvC players makes me enjoy the game even more. Champ, Yipes, Pie, PR and Combo are all top notch players and good ol boys. I hope they all keep playing and keep winning, all of them.
can someone explain to me how the hell combofiend continued that combo as spencer when phoenix turned dark.... he hard knockdowned her... i dont get it
You can get player points for playing jn versus mode? Because i know it doesn't effect your stats for your license (ex. How many times you used this character.) but player points? How?
combo and pr rog are two guys that really love this game lol its fun to watch them play the game especially since they are really good at it, great match
I'm only a little bit further in the scene than you, but from what I can tell Combofiend is a showman when it comes to his games. I'm not sure how far he gets in actual tournaments, but he's a very strong personality in front of the camera, and people love it. And it's all in good fun, especially here. Stream audiences love the trash talk, both sides do it, and at the end of the day, It's Just A Game, something Combofiend and many others in the competitive spotlight have learned & appreciate.
LOL While his opponent looks so focus or salty, Combofiend was actually having a LOT of fun. I love it! XD And Rog's laughing just made everything more awesome!
I expected to click this and just have a game sound to listen to with no commentators... and I got combofiend commentating his own match whilst it was being played? The gods are good.
Damn. If ever you got connected by Champ's magneto, prepare to be sent mid-air and get combo'd till you die. Guy's combo skills is insane. Same with Combofiend, his Spencer's ridiculously strong.
As far as the matches are concerned, MvC3 seems to be more about the technique. Proper blocking and distance management on the defense, mix-ups and throws on the offense, all for that one hit that can start off a combo. From there, it's all about execution; most every character has a long combo chain that can be pulled off, but the precision it takes to continue the chains is very hard; high level players make it look easy, but dropping a chain can leave you open to easy counters if not careful.
Solo yes, but together Combo and Yipes are the best next to Matrix and Yipes for Marvel. For Street Fighter my favorite duo is prob AquaSilk and Chris Hu.
