I heard this live and a wanted to watch it and hear it again because it touch my wrestling heart so much...... these boys were brought up right and as a dad I tip my hat to Kevin von eric..... I will be pushing these boys to the moon... and I will call my shot... these boys will be the new age American heros of wrestling... they will go down as one of the best tag teams EVER!!!! LONG LIVE THE VON ERICS.... THE USA IS .... VON ERIC COUNTRY !!
I haven't listened to many wrestling interviews that moved me to tears like this one. Listening how Ross and Marshall speak so proudly of their father and uncles just hit me. I hope they fulfill their dreams and sign with a major promotion soon, they certainly deserve it!🙏🏼
18mins in the interview and I'm filled with joy. I'm gonna be honest I stop watching AEW. But I'm definitely tuning on for this Episode. They been doing great in MLW and I wanna see this moment.
The reason why Wrestling fans loved the Von Erich is that they all were genuinely good people, sure some had some demons but they felt like everyday people and you just wanted to root for them. I get that same vibe from these two, hope they get signed to a major company soon.
Honestly this is probably one of the most human interviews I have seen from wrestlers, or even people in general. Really these guys get a good push from AEW they deserve it.
@zanethomas6826 I definitely agree Tony has too much on his plate at this point. From what I've heard AEW was really good at the beginning but once Cody left it went downhill
They're on AEW and ROH right now... maybe wwe one day, but right now, they are exactly where they need to be. Their ring work looks awesome, and once they get used to the TV aspect, they'll be at the top
I remember my grandfather once said that WWE/F Pretty much was the straw that broke their uncle Kerrys back! Had they not just discarded him and instead offer to HELP HIM........he probably would still be here! I mean he is right in a sense. That man wanted to succeed so bad that he wore a friggin prosthetic to be able to continue to perform damnit!
Saw them live on rampage yesterday as a Texan with my whole family talking about growing up with the von erichs it was an awesome moment to see them and Kevin
TNA are stacking their roster for their return. Bully knows some important people, help the boys out. Fresh off Iron Claw, maybe non wrestling fans will see the film and check out the von Erichs it would help get more eyes on TNA.
When Marshall talks I can hear his dad in his voice. God bless Texas and God bless the Von Erich’s. I grew watching their dad and uncles. The Sportatorium was my home away from home.
The Hawaii thing explains why they haven't been in major promotions, glad there in the US for now so they can make a real run at it...they both have great looks and thrre family lineage is a story that writes itself
This is a first class interview. Very well put; GOOD LUCK boys! You remind me of the Von Erich's with all of that respect and the way that you portray everything.
I am so proud of the Von Erich family and legacy. Marshall & Ross are the best there is today in either league - MLG & WWE. God bless Kevin and these two incredible you men.
I listen to ur podcast ever night at work only reason why I have the app.. but got to say this interview, wow had to go back and watch on RU-vid it was so great , makes me miss the close relationship with my brother we were so close now it’s just the opposite..love the show guys thank you
I know one thing, I really popped when AEW advertised the Von Erichs. WWE would never do anything like this. Not only did I watch MLW pretty much since day one, but I actually grew up on the Von Erichs and WCCW in the 80s. I'm all about family and tradition, especially with wrestling.
I really like these guys man, such a heart warming, down to earth story. I was already excited for the movie, I loved the Dark Side of the Ring episode, and I really want to watch these guys succeed!
Welcome back to Texas...My Wife and myself drove past your rach two weekends ago while at my parents house...Best of luck in the wrestling business..Merry Christmas and Happy New Year...
look…i want more than ever to see a new Von Erich dynasty, that name has been out of the active wrestling business for too long….but guys go to WWE, and this is coming from an AEW fan, youll just be another spoke in the tag team division after the first few appearances, go talk to Paul and keep your names and bring that prestige back to your family, show this generation of fans that the Von Erichs can still be dominant and can still kick ass.
i know i already commented but i just realized how much they look like their grandfather and uncle’s, i couldnt tell before but just seeing them talk and not be “on” they look like Fritz and Kerry to the point its scary.
Hope they sign to AEW or WWE. It seems AEW's suffered in the tag division since the six-man titles hit the seen. The Von Erichs would be an amazing addition
