@@jr4653 "They say 'why don't we increase the peace?' The only piece increased is that which deletes your peeps. I'm trying to be as bleak with my speech as possible, just in case a n**** try to throw me an obstacle" His whole writing style is just so casual and offbeat in a way that works out, it's a shame he never got better shine
@Ash Salvatore!! Skills wide sure.. But Eminem himself is not as big as he was back then.. Eminem was EV ERY WHERE! but if you wherent there you wouldn't understand
@Ash Salvatore!! STILL not even close to the Eminem mania orf 98 to 04..when I saw him live in 01 in Oslo we got so load we drowned out the soundsystem, he couldn't start a new song for 10 minutes, he was just standing there with Proof.. Trying to start the song then stopping and thanking us 🤣 50 million followed don't mean shit since only about 5 % of them will interact with the accounts, 20 million albums sold in 2000? That's Michael Jackson, elvis Presley, beatles levels of big
I understand what you're saying Stevie, however, em's verse is literally written for the build up of the intro. You literally pointed it out when you said its like steps. Listening to that build up without pausing is an experience. I wouldn't wanna mess with tbh
I love seeing how much Stevie can see and appreciate how great these songs are and the skill it takes to make them. It also blows my mind how the haters can’t. And that they can’t give any credit to how great songs like this are as well as so much of the content hes made over his career.
DMX is one of the real-ist people EVER! I saw him onn an interview for some radio station, and dude refused to sit down the whole time. They asked him about Drake amd he didn't hold back at all. Said he didn't like anything about Drake. "I don't even like his face." 😂😂😂😂
@@TylerLL2112 dude was hostile the whole time. stood the while time, and refused to sit when they asked him to. Charlemagne asked him about Drake, and he just said all that shit. But he wasn't yelling or even acting mad about it. But when he said he didn't like nothing about him, not even his face, Charlemagne didn't say another word about it. X shut that shit down! 😂
@@leonardohernandez9300 one of the only times Charlemagne didn't try to get slick with his BS too. The tone X had let him know he wasn't even tryin to play around with Charlemagne's goofy ass. It was weird bc he wasn't acting crazy or even angry. But, it was clear that there was MAD hostility boiling inside.
I love this instrumental, and obviously Eminem had the most anger and energy on the track but the overall sound with Obie and DMX is awesome. P.s. Check 2Pac Ft. Eminem "One Day at a Time" (If you know the history between Em and 2Pac's mother, you're gonna enjoy this song even more)
Right everyone claps at em but the goats mom decided em was the one to produce tupacs unreleased songs good choice miss shakur may the both of them be reunited in heaven I never will watched all eyes on me cause miss shakur did not want that movie to be released
I've heard this track plenty of times but I just heard the meat/beef scheme for the first time. mans a genius. "were gonna beef, and keep on beefing unless, you're gonna agree to 'meat' with me in the 'flesh'. wtf
Omg Stevie!! I been waiting for this reaction for about a year now I even commented asking for this song reaction in so many other videos!!😭😍 I'm a #StevieStan😊❤
When that long awaited beat finally drops. Stevie face just changes and he's then sucked into the vibe 😂 I feel this still, and I've heard it about 100 times. The build up to the best drop is amazing, nice to see a reactor vibing to the art of Eminem
I used to be the skinny white boy who use to listen to this on the bus in 8th grade. Now I’m 29 years old with a wife and still listen to it, music this great has no limits or age!
Bro, the moment when you get the vibe on the intro! I know exactly what you been feeling in this moment! I go through the same mode every time till this day, after years and years of listening this track! I f***ing love it!!!
This is part of the reason as to why we love Eminem’s music. The anger in his voice, every single one of us can relate to the aspect of releasing frustration. I have been gaining traction o my channel by reacting to this man myself! #living-legend #goat
This song was my favorite warm up for "serious" work back in '06 ish. I'm happy to see nxtgen picking up on its greatness (& what a line up of Talent , yeah? DMX RIP)
Obie's line '...he who reach the hearse, is he who depicts fiction in his verse' is lowkey cold as fuck. But yeah, listening to that Eminem verse on loop when you're 12 years old was the coolest shit you could do.
The way he played with "he who" was sick ASF, too bad this fool only pays attention to punchlines and doesn't appreciate delivery, flow, schemes, voice and epistrophies
Same, like I wanna beef with some stranger when I go to the bank later...lol...but the song has to be playing like a movie...or it's a good work out song
They did Ja Rule bad on this joint! Made it so much worse the fact it was used for the preview to the movie Cradle to the Grave! Ja had to watch it on previous on TV😂
6/13/24 and this song popped in my head so instead of pulling up the song/video on RU-vid, I went looking for a Stevie Knight reaction. So much better than just listening to the song by itself. ;-)
The D12 line was because D12 asked if they where going to get the band together. And it sounded like they asked Em if he needed help but Em's got this. And if you havent lisen to Eminem - Till I Collapse. In that song simular to what you pointed out in this he starts the next line with the same word he ended the previus line with.
...Cradle 2 the Grave was the movie this song featured in...as the out-tro in its entirety, uncensored and it actually stopped me in my tracks when Em spat “I ain’t gonna eat” and take a seat again to rock it out...
DMX flamed 🔥 this track ! when he say Hey dog, I'ma walk like a beast, talk like the streets I'ma stay blazin New York wit the heat Stalk on the beat, walk wit my feet Understand my pain, the rain ain't sleet It's overrr!!!
What I like is that this song was on the soundtrack of Cradle 2 the Grave. So not only people that was interested in the beef heard it, people that had no idea that was going on heard it and loved the song.
I remember finding this song on either grokster or limewire when it was new. The title just mentioned Obie and Em so I had that same Ohhhh ish he we go when I heard DMX
Yeah I totally agree, after listening to Em's verse I thought it was gonna be some real crazy track, but after hearing the other verses, I felt underwhelmed.
Dude, I love that you love that intro. It's fire.. stay wide awake is may e the only other one I like the cadence more on. This song is just mean as hell man, the build up.. I wish Em did an entire song with this lyrical content and attitude. He has others, but.. this one.. this is a UFC walk out song, I wanna fight when I hear this song lol. I'm also stoked you did some of the other songs I was looking forward to. Keep kicking ass with your reactions, and as always talk yo shit!
