the fact that he used his immunity idol for erika too, he kept them in the game just to knock them out later. he wanted to be in the final vote with lou, and he took care of raph, and then he took care of erika. man if this dude was ever in actual survivor, he'd be so good
The fact that Brennan specifically set up the kill the beast to use it later was a brilliant play and while Lou defintily deserved the win, Brennan needs some recognition for that brilliance.
I love that Beardsly just rocks up looking somewhere between Bono and Elton John while it is still clearly the same day. They had that bonus outfit lying around for a special occasion and I respect it
In another compilation somebody points out what an incredibly strong power move it was for Lou to vote her off because she is such a fucking wild card that you cannot guess where she's coming from. And I have such respect for that, from both sides.
@@RickGladwin it's actually incredible how so many of the current dropout cast members were featured (although not as prominent cast members) in ch sketches, jacob played katie's boyfriend in the mismatched couple scketch, vic played lily's friend in the fancy restaurant sketch, lou in the trapped in a conversation sketch like you mentioned i'm sure there's more examples but those are the ones i could think of on top of my head, it's really cool looking back !!!
The way Lou revealed his duplicity is among the finest moments of Dropouts whole career. It will go down without question as my favorite Lou Wilson moment.
I know they were playing it for laughs but if you think about it seriously watching Brennan and Lou interact in the last confessional actually was like getting a window into MLK's living dream.
I literally think about that whenever I watch clips of Brennan and Lou's bromance. It's legitimately the most wholesome, admirable friendship between two straight men I've ever seen in my life - and I want to find a friend I can vibe with as hard as they always vibe with each other.
@@Fafounee British humor is an acquired taste. Frankly it all seems particularly mean if you're not used to the "banter". Which is surprising given that it's Americans who are usually stereotyped as being uncouth and bad-tempered.
raph's constant case of the giggles throughout the entire process is so delightful, every time anything happens he is simply astonished he's still there to witness it
It's weird how Church Camp seems to be responsible for so many realizations about gender and sexuality. It's almost as if stuffing lots of teenagers into confined spaces doesn't result in chaste, religious experiences.
dunno about y’all but being surrounded by pictures of super buff dudes being all tied to crosses probably did not do to my sexuality what they wanted it to do
“where the structured and scheduled activities are mostly incredibly boring” is a big part of the secret sauce of self-discovery too. bore someone enough and they’ll turn within to find anything interesting.
I already knew I can be attracted to men, but god the hot bible camp counselors with long hair and acoustic guitars really REALLY cemented that concept to me.
I just fall more in love with Erika every time she's on screen. She's right, perching like a little bisexual gargoyle is the _optimal_ stance at all times.
I've found my people ♥ my love for them cannot be contained. I love Erika so damn much and I was SO happy when Brennan used the last loop de loop to grant her immunity and get through to the final round.
I have circulation issues and would always perch when I came into biology from lunch bc the temp change from hot outside to freezing ac inside made my legs hurt and my friend called me the "wise owl" bc I always greeted her like an owl in human form when she walked in lol
@@NotHPotter he wins so often, and usually by a large margin. When he's on Um Actually, the other contestants are lucky to get any points. It's like he can't have *this* too, right?
The revelation that Ally's dad, who all this time I assumed was a Conservative Christian type, turning out to be a crypto bro is just... weirdly hilarious to me. Also, does that mean Ally stands to inherit ugly monkey drawings?
@@nairocamilo , I have the unfortunate honour to share the following: 1. There are parents who are selling their kids’ art as NFTs 2. There are a series of baby ape NFTs
This has been my favorite two episodes of game changer. And that's saying alot cause I love game changer lol. And ty so much for starting Lou off with his wonderful weird lil shimmy down stance in preparation to whisper lmao.
Why does this video feel so much more intimate than all of the other dropout clips I’ve seen? I dunno if that’s the vibe you were going for when editing, but if it was then you nailed it o.o
Survivor themed church camp unlocked so many old memories for me cuz I'm damn sure I went to one like that too, minus the t-shirts. I do remember though a lot of the ones I went to tried capitalizing on a lot of things that were popular back in the day
I think legally every church is required to have a Survivor themed summer camp because I too attended and worked a Survivor themed camp. Hilariously enough, it was mostly just the appropriation of the island and using the coin phrase "we're survivors!" without the realization of what a dark, cutthroat reality show Survivor actually is I guess. Anyway, glad to see that the right man won today.
Brennan really achieved his goal here. "I don't care if I win, but I don't intend to lose?" Getting to the final round and then Lou taking the win was definitely the outcome Brennan wanted. Especially since the final yhree included Erika. "Of the dome" indeed.
i would even say that the setup started when Brennan turned the voting round on Raph by leaving him the only one without immunity. Brennan picked his target in Erika, tested the waters for what would make them laugh, and then delivered the goods
@@gurglequeen433 a lot of bad experiences with church related events, so it immediately registered as bad in my brain. Sorry. I can see how it could be fun with the right people though ❤️
@@Rylee_G I'm sorry you had a bad experience, I was lucky enough to have a very positive experience within my church growing up. I know it's not the same for everyone else.
I'm super curious if this was shot way before this season. LET ME EXPLAIN: In season 1 of 'Game Changer' during episode 3 Raph makes a little joke about 'loop-d-loops' during the "Game of Prizes" episode. Only time I've heard that phrase was in the Survivor episodes where Raph was eliminated by a 'loop-d-loop'. Correct me if im wrong but I think those episodes where filmed before the start of Game Changer episode 1....
Huh, church camp teaches people weird things, they learned that gender was bendy, I learned how to pick/jimmy locks, jump start a golf cart, and how to overclock a generator so it short circuits lol
I need someone to explain to me my Lou deserved the win, cause other than the prisoner's dilema betrayal, brennan made most of the power moves. Don't get me wrong, Love Lou, genuinely made me laugh the entire episode.
Brennan got voted off because he made the most power moves which then left his final speech just telling them how he outplayed them at every turn to the point he still had an unused loop de loop. It let Lou get to play the role of the charismatic underdog anime protagonist.
@@Rylee_G Right, I'm not against that. The extra content that only 0.01% of viewers will pay for is the first thing I unwittingly tried, at which point I backed out at full speed because I'm not the 0.01%.
