sorry to be offtopic but does anyone know of a trick to log back into an instagram account? I was dumb lost the account password. I love any tips you can offer me!
@Leandro Killian I really appreciate your reply. I found the site through google and I'm trying it out atm. Looks like it's gonna take a while so I will reply here later with my results.
I watched Martin Yan cooking shows when I was kid. Prompted me to learn how to use chopsticks, use a Chinese chef knife and visit San Francisco Chinatown frequently. I can’t get enough of his shows. Have made many of the dishes he makes. I would watch these older videos before watching the many cooking shows now!
Sir, I remember you from my teen years..................you were the first chef I ever cared to see. ......Today was the first I saw you in channel 113 .........................SO HAPPY.
LOL @ "We're in a Fowl Mood!" ... my Polish Grandmother, a former Nazi POW who came to the USA after WWII, used to LOVE this guy, she watched him every day, every time he was on.
I’ve been watching Martin Yan’s early cooking shows. Contrasting him speaking and teaching the audience Cantonese, to this show where he opens the show and showcases Cantonese cuisine in Mandarin (but still interviews chefs in Japan in Cantonese), and his 2020 TV appearances back in Cantonese and going back to his roots. It shows how people and times change.
My Polish Grandmother used to watch this guy every single day, loved him, I still do lol. When he does his musical chopchopchopping, Julienne Julienne Julienne lol.
Dearest Martin Yanz. I'll be watching you sense the 1996. I love you. Love cooking. My favorite program when you cook with your mom. That's was awesome 👌.
i am your avid follower chef martin yan ever since im in hongkong i always borrow your recipe books in hk library and tried some of your yummy dishes.now in in USA i still want to cook chinese food for my husband even though im a filipino but i find chinese food is more tasty and healthier .
Wow!!! 15:21 I used to love these Haw Flakes when I was in grade school in Thailand nearly 50 years ago. Exactly the same packaging. I can actually taste it right now!!!
rbeck3200tb40 Haw flakes are hawthorn berries dried and shaped. Hawthorn berry has lots of vitamin c, it's really good to eat when you are a little ill and also tastes nice. The fresh berries taste like plums and texture of avocado, the dried haw flakes taste like childhood memories of after school snacks...
rbeck3200tb40 they grow on hawthorn trees 😀 There are hundreds of different kinds of hawthorn trees in temperate climate...not in very hot or cold places.
those fruit medallions are great. at my grandmas house id eat so many of them ps: i remember they were called haw flakes. theyre made of the hawthorn fruit
From what I have read this is a guy who as a child sucked on a marble flavored with fermented soy so his bowl of rice would have taste. Went from that humble start to a master chef. Amazing on its own, yet Martin is also funny, kind and passionate about his art. Things all too rare...no matter how plentiful they may become.
Why must Chinese takeouts practically put doughnut on meat and give us cherry flavored transmission fluid as a dipping sauce? This looks so much healthier. *Sadness*
i miss the dipping sauce for steamed chicken in hk. (use a lot of green onion finely chop and a lot of grated ginger mix with oil and salt.wow so yummy
Chinese take away is 5% meat. It is authentic They made up fancy names for the little they had. 'Six kinds of chicken ' contains no meat. As a child you believe,. We had enough to eat Thank you mother
