I"m always amazed at how excited Yan is about what he loves. Grew up watching him, enjoyed every moment.

Martin Yan is one of my personal FAV Chinese chefs known to exist.

My Polish Grandmother, a WW2 Prisoner of War who came to America and spoke English but certainly not perfectly, used to watch him every day, every episode, she loved him, thought he was the best. I grew up watching him. He used to love doing "Jullllllieeene.... Jullineeeenee" while chopping lol.

He's the reason I became a chef I love cooking Asian food love his love of food

mr. Yan's cooking delicioso, i am from mexicali we have a lot chinese restaurants, i love chinese food.....thank for the recipes.

I still remember the first time I tried to cut mango like this was when I watched his show on TV, this video sents me back to my childhood :).

PBS is just not the same wirhout Martin Yan, i miss seeing his shows. Thank you for sharing these vids.

Wow...I need to pull down my bamboo steaming rack. Bet the tofu dish would be great with chicken thigh. Love watching this man cook :)

San Francisco has the best China town AND Chinese food .. Yes I’m prejudiced ..

for the melon bowl soup i hardly believe the meat has any flavor in it. He never marinaded them or done anything for flavoring other than putting them in stock.
