Two new launches in the sub-4 metre SUV space in a matter of a month - the Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza and the Mahindra NuvoSport. We put them in a head-to-head battle to find out which one stands tall
To boost sales of Mahindra Nuvosport they must do some radical changes such as bigger tyres, removing spare wheel from the rear and placing it under the back seat hood, removing useless rear bench seats, also they must provide a wrap around tail lamp since its look like a boxy boring design from rear, also they must add Led lamps, with proper detailed interior.
Hi guys could you please suggest which is better pic between nuvosport or ecosport. Heard nuvosport is again going to be flop but I really like its tall stance and macho styling
While looks are subjective, in the case of these models, their appearance says a lot about the rest of the package. The Ford EcoSport, looks more individualistic and youthful as a compact SUV. It has many strengths such as a powerful 1.5 litre engine and strong focus on safety. The Vitara Brezza, on the other hand, looks straightforward and is styled to please all. It is not quite as engaging to drive as the EcoSport can be, but does offer that little more by way of comfort, practicality and everyday ease-of-use. Also, if the claimed fuel economy numbers are anything to go by, the Brezza promises to be more fuel efficient too. Buying out of these two or to wait for Tata Nexon, depends on your buying time as Nexon will come in the later half of this year or in 2017.
Both SUVs are pioneers in there segment, NuvoSport has got better torque and has got some extra features also like cruise control, touch screen, Automatic transmission etc. It is a 7 seater due to which it feels a bit congested as compared to its competitor. Ecosport is durable and has got better looks also. We suggest you to take a test drive in order to decide in a better way.
The central AC vent layout and the unsightly bulge on the Nuvosport make it look like a cheap chinese home air-cooler forcibly fit into the dash. Tacky as hell. :/
You say brezza scored very well in almost every dept. Let's go dept. wise.. 1) Space - Brezza has space just like any swift dezire.. Leg room is not good and seating 3 in back is painful.. While Nuvosport has much much more space in terms of leg room, shoulder room and boot space.. 2) Engine - Brezza is making less power and torque here.. Also as a SUV it should have low end torque to tackle the rough terrain.. Only Nuvosport has that.. Brezza engine behaves like hatchback engine. which is designed for highway performance. 3) Looks - Brezza looks like tall swift and Nuvosport looks like mate of two species gone terribly wrong... 4) Road performance - Brezza is actually swift with good height... As it has low weight 0-100 will be better than Nuvosport.. But keep in mind that you get this performance because maruti reduced the weight and it tolls you in safety department... Swift selling in india got zero safety rating... Brezza will have the same story... 5) Safety - Nuvosport is better in this department... Crash a brezza and you will be dead... So apart from looks and road performance brezza doesn't scored well...
Breeza is just a cheap car anyone willing to buy a car can choose this car that doesn't mean it's a better car in India anything is cheaper people will afford to buy that
