ShartimusPrime Biography:
Inspired by watching boring Transformers action figure reviews, the ShartimusPrime youtube channel was launched in 2008. Engaging the audience with an edgy sense of humor for adult collectors, action figure collecting has never been this fun, and videos are posted daily! Unexpectedly, the channel became more popular for Marvel Legends reviews and Spider-Man, Avengers, and X-Men collection display videos. After a few years, the channel has branched out to review other figure properties aside from Marvel Legends and G1 Transformers Masterpiece. Hot Toys, Star Wars, Diamond Select Toys, DC Collectibles, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Dragon Ball Z, Attack on Titan, Godzilla, Evil Dead, and The Walking Dead toy lines have all been added to the roster of nearly 2,000 video reviews. Japanese import figures from SH Figuarts, Bandai, Figma, Square Enix, and Medicom MAFEX have been favorites as well. More recently, Kotobukiya Statues (including the very sexy Bishoujo line) and NECA Toys have become more prevalent on the channel. Being a big fan of movies such as Spider-Man, Batman, X-Men, Iron Man, Captain America, The Avengers, Evil Dead, Pacific Rim, Aliens, and other films has lead the channel in the direction of also reviewing movies, movie trailers, blu ray releases, and tv shows. News updates for 2016 releases and beyond are also posted. Audience engagement is a big part of this channel, with giveaways and fan mail being read publicly once a week in the PO Box Pick-Up videos. Impressive “Shart-Art” is shared via social media and included in the opening theme song. The audience is also kept up to date with any changes to the channel, along with recent comic book pick-ups, unboxings, and action figure hauls. Stop-motion segments punishing the popular meme of the Big Time Let Down Spider-Man close most of the comparison segments, and are compiled together for guaranteed access to patrons. Lastly, all figure reviews close with a slideshow featuring dynamic poses of the figure inspired by ACBA, with the added bonus of music performed and recorded by ShartimusPrime himself.

8:20 I've got good news for you. The new Phoenix is on a taller buck with a similar articulation scheme. Hopefully they'll use that one for characters like Psylocke, Spider-Woman, Mystique, Black Cat, Lady Deadpool, She-Venom, and Elektra. But they should have also used that buck for Warbird and put Phoenix on this one.

This is the Carol Danvers I miss seeing as a kid back when she was Warbird/Ms.Marvel. I grew up reading the New Avengers run & watching Superhero Squad and EMH cartoon as a kid. She was a really good character. When she became Captain Marvel, she became a bit of a jerk and lot less likable, especially when she was feuding with Miles when it could’ve been easily resolved.

Exclusives should saved for repaints or variants In Ireland it’s hard as is to get Marvel Legends but when these exclusives drop we pretty much have scalpers as our only option

Target has severe supply chain issues. While most Targets in the SF Bay Area had few to none of this figure Target in Alameda had 4 pegs full of this figure. At least 4-6 cases of Warbird. So many that a week later on my weekly run they still had a few left. Of course the app listed the item as sold out.

This has to be the worst handling of a store exclusive Legends fig to date. I’m in Orlando Fl not one store within 20 miles has her and she’s sold out online. Crap distribution and scalpers Absolutely fuckin ridiculous. The “add to cart” was clickable yesterday and it still popped up “out of stock” wtf Hasbro get your shit together.

Her legs are actually %100 new, including the bottom half. It has more muscular curves than all the other standard size ML female figures. The feet are reuse though.

Stars aligned and was able to order it and got it in this week. Lot to like about this figure, but not only is it short, the head is small. Looks almost import scale like Mafex compared to other Marvel Legends. But hell it’s going on the shelf. Lucky to have it.

I went on the Target app a little after midnight on release day and bought one for pick up at my local Target. When I checked my emails later on that morning I found out that they cancelled my order. Fortunately, I got extremely lucky and found one in the wild. I was expecting to see a ton of overpriced ones at the Kane County toy show a couple weeks ago. Oddly enough, I don’t remember seeing any.

Great face sculpt, better articulation, but too short. Almost perfect, but they always do something from achieving a perfect product. This is more the scale of S.H. Figuarts, Mafex and Mezco.

Nice figure but I noticed from your close-up video that she has a similar issue that I disliked on the previous one. I wish they wouldn't paint flesh tone over black plastic. Last time it was the upper thighs, now its the upper arms. Being that this was an exclusive, would have been nice to see newly sculpted flesh tone parts to match with the costumed parts, instead of the paint-over. Besides that, she looks great. I have her in a flying pose, so its easy enough to fudge the height issues. I have to wonder, based on Hasbro's answer to you regarding the Danny Ketch figure's height, are they going to re-calculate the height of most characters based on these newer body molds.

Just gotta say, I don't think we have seen these legs before. Could be totally wrong as I'm very new but I don't think we've seen legs with the under butt sculpted like that when Warbird has her quads raised 90 degrees to her torso

I think she's a great height. ML has been upscaling their figures too much. I hope they start making all their regular size characters this Warbird height and same goes for the regular size men as Danny Ketch Ghost Rider height

The articulation on this body should have been standard for female characters for over 12 years now and they should put a hard brake on any coming out without 2 points at the torso and single elbows.

I think the arms would look better if they had not put the flesh tone paint on the bicep. Then the top edge of the bicep would look like the edge of the gloves.

Lots of paint issues with this figure regarding the flesh tones the molding and the black paint on the flesh tone.This is what happens when hasbro thinks there doing something but really they are not. Hasbro was honestly better off making a (NEW) Captain Marvel carol danvers instead of warbird. A new captain marvel version would have actually been easier for them to make and it would have looked a lot nicer. Extremely disappointing that hasbro made this figure so small carol is a tall woman she shouldn’t be shorter then black widow hopefully they learn from there mistakes and make a (NEW) carol danvers but next time the (Captain Marvel version).
