Im so thankful for this. I have a collection level over 4k and i keep getting crap in my caches , like no cards at all. Ive opened 50 no cards. But i have alot of yhem right now

Not sure if you covered this, but say I reached pool 2 collection level but only have Pool 1 cards in my deck - do I only play against Pool 1 decks or can come against Pool 2 as I reached that collection level?

the worst part about pool 3, is that they are gonna keep on adding cards, making it harder and harder to finish the collection for new players, currently 1000+, still missing about 40 cards from pool 3

Great video! One question for you, I am currently at collection level 440 and just unlocked Sandman, which is pool 3 but I've yet to unlock two cards from pool 2. So is the information correct that pool 3 unlocks at 450?

Yes, because Sand Man is currently a Pool 2 card :)

@@shreeraam8294 so there are pros and cons to this. The randomness of this prevents everyone from net decking day 1. I like the fact you’re guaranteed to get the cards for pool 1 and 2. The grind for three is garbage. I also like the fact it limits spending. But as someone who invests in their hobby as a large ocean creature, it’s frustrating. I don’t have time to grind a lot - going for my masters, three kids, job, wife, ect… so I want to buy a little bit more or faster. I think the games brilliant. Like shockingly brilliant and fun. Iconic. Great stuff all around. Acquisition needs to be a bit faster or less random (same pace but target the cards you may want from like a selection of three cards)

@@robertviscomi8199 I think they are planning something better for the monetization, but yeah, I agree that getting cards is too random. I'm sitting on half of a destroy and half of a discard deck XD.

Nice breakdown, altrought I think you made a lil mistake just, before the 4" mark (it happens to the best^^) Early in pool 3 collector's cache have 50% chance of rewarding a card from collector's reserve (1008 collection lvl) onward the card chance drop to 25% (and I only seem to get alt art lol since ages).

@@AlexanderCoccia In case you're a kind of numberophile like I am, I took the time to track the amount of new card I got from those caches. When supposedly 50%, from the 52 caches I had 25 cards against 27 no card rewards, aka 48% vs 52%. Since in the 25% drop caches level I had 1 new card out of 9 caches so 11%, but 2 alt art including one ultra for what that's worth^^

No, has to be from a specific pool! Killmonger is pool 2 :)

Determine whats fun for you! I like upgrading and collecting and care less about rank. I want cards so I can deckbuild, that's what my whole channel is about. Im a deckbuilder. Determine how you want to engage with the game and do that! I suggest that most people upgrade cards and collect, the game is more fun that way IMO although you will face more complex decks faster.

The one thing I don't like is the lack of thematic synergy. I appreciate that the abilities tend to be quite flavourful, but when characters like Nova, Bucky, and Carnage work together better Cyclops, Jean Grey, and Storm...idk it feels weird to me. Moon Girl and Devil Dino are the only comic-accurate good combo I've found so far

That's sad, in GWENT you can craft whatever cards you want at the very beginning of the game. I dont think ppl would enjoy grinding hundreds of levels just to get the card they want.

There were some minor changes to the cards and pools! So Killmonger and Sandman got moved to Pool 2 :)

This system currently implemented is nice for the reasons you outlined. If the “dust” system is not rolled out, this game will be awful for new players starting next year and beyond.

how long you been playing? ive been playing for almost 2 days and im stuck at collection lvl 100, i think i missused some shards to upgrade cards, instead of upgrading common and uncommons which are worth 50 and 100 shards, i used 200 to upgrade other cards even more, now i dont got shards nor missions and im stuck with all these cards waiting for my resourses to fill up so i can upgrade them :(

@@kuriosagamisou1330 started on launch so 3 days! I play a ton of matches per day. Finished all the weekly challenges already 25/25 and almost done with chapter 3 of battle pass symbiote invasion just need to wait 11 hours for the last objective for chapter 3

@@MelonLord11 only thing you can do is wait for daily missions, and only upgrade like 1-2-3 cards per day, thats where the monetization comes in to play

Thanks for this! Is it odd that I've essentially only lost in the one level where they introduce the "how to retreat"? I've played Magic and Hearthstone and it just seems like my opponents haven't been getting the strategy part of this game so far... either that or I have amazing card synergies that can't be beat for right now. *Shrug*

I had the same experience, but started to loose a bit more around rank ~35. Around there opponents also started retreating more

Yeah..... With how matchmaking is also tied to collection level and card pool I think I'll stay at pool 1 or 2 forever. Way more consistent match that way.

The pool system combined with not wiping progress at launch made me not try this game.

The progression system makes a lot of sense once you start to play and understand why its designed the way it is, and hopefully the new "tokens" they are coming out with help to give people a chance to target specific cards. Beta players do have a collection advantage, yeah, and I can understand why that is frustrating
