Marvel vs Capcom 2 just got a HUGE upgrade!!! 

I live in PHX, AZ. We have a bar called Cobra Arcade Bar and there’s a MVC2 cabinet in there. My first really fighting game (I learned everything) was dbfz. I spent a night on the mvc2 cab and kept beating everyone until this older dude came in and destroyed me. Infinites…cheap set ups…everything. Ever since then I’ve wanted to officially learn mvc2 and this video is showing me that I can and should!!

Another tip some people don't know: If it looks like your game runs choppy or not smooth even tho its running at 60fps, you might want to go to your Nvidia or AMD Control Panel and lock the Flycast emulator to 60fps (I asume you can also use another 3rd program that lets you lock games to certain framerates). This will make the emulator look MUCH smoother, it was a massive difference for me.

I played SFs and all its iterations (up to SFA2) as a teen but then drifted from gaming and am a complete novice at all the complexities of getting stuff like this up and running. This has worked a treat. Now to get a bit of practice in before having my ass handed to me online with my 8BitDo M30 😂

Hi. Thanks for this. I got it to work. Sometimes when I'm playing it though it crashes and I hear a loud buzzing that I got to force quit out of. I don't know if it's just my computer or if something other people might have come across it

Hey what graphics driver are you using? My pc running windows 8 directx can't emulate the graphics for Naomi or Flycast : ( so when I play mvc2 many graphics are missing

I still have my dreamcast and ps2 along with the disk for both systems. This is one game I can never ever get tired of!

I previously already had fightcade, is the auto-update sufficient to play with other players? Because I am always stuck at "starting network" whenever I challenge someone. Do I need to download any extra? I would think the auto update would package everything in already, no? What could be wrong?

how was you able to set the controls? theres no controls for medium punch and kick. so annoying cant do combos

Is there a better way to play mvc2 arcade emulated? Does the Dreamcast version drop the hard Punch and hard kick? Like the arcade version does it originally have light punch light kick medium punch medium kick hard Punch hard kick?

Didn't work for me. I extract the files and Fightcade still cant find the roms

I just can't auto download the rom. When I click on join, the ms-dos pops up and then closes right after. (The beta region box is already unchecked)

When I go to test the game it just closes the window don't know why? but it works fine when I open Flycast on its own. Am I alone on that?

I used to have no problem playing fightcade on my windows 7 laptop stoped playing for a few months come back reinstalled it and it just gets stuck on connecting when I log in tried everything …. This sucks
