@Alrimate I love mike more than marvin, so therefore it's my opinion. Marvin was more of my moms thing, I grew up on michael. I'm black and I love me some michael, yeah marvin had great songs but I wasnt really into him. And who said anything about daddies?

He had a certain amount of respect for Anna. Not enough to not cheat on her publicly and get another girl pregnant, but Anna was class. She didn't throw herself at him. He had to work for it. She was there from the beginning when he was a struggling artist. Decent men usually respect that.

Joe Jackson was alot of things. In his own way he loved his kids and he didn't let anyone mistreat his children. Joe had those hands and would knocked out any body over his kids. According to Latoya Jackson near the end of Micheal Jackson Life he told her he wished he had his father by his side because he knew Joe would have handled those promoters. Joe wasn't perfect not by a long shot but when it came to his family he was not having it. He let Gordy know they are my kids my blood not yours run through their veins.
